    On December 9, 2025, at approximately 2030 hours, the Alaska State Troopers (AST) received a report of a death investigation. AST responded to the residence and located Elisa Russ, age 57, of Homer was located deceased at her residence in Homer. Investigation found no foul play is suspected at this time and investigation is still ongoing. Elisa's next of kin was notified. Out of respect for the family, no further details will be released.     On 12/9/25 at approximately 2037 hours, AST received a report of a disturbance at a residence in Wasilla. Investigation revealed that Billy John age 39 of Wasilla had bashed a family member's face into a wall. Billy was arrested and transported to MSPT, where he was held without bail for Assault 3 DV, Assault 4 DV, Assault in the Presence of a Child DV x2, and Criminal Mischief 5 DV.

    Type: Vehicle Theft, Theft 2nd degree, arrest warrant x 2

    On 12/10/2025 at approximately 0623 hours, AST responded to a report of vehicle that was partially blocking the road on Skyview Dr and Fast Ln in Wasilla. Investigation revealed the vehicle was a 2001 white Dodge Ram 1500 that was reported stolen on 11/22/2025. Jourdan Avila, age 33 of Wasilla was in possession of the stolen vehicle. Jourdan was arrested for vehicle theft 1st degree and Theft 2nd degree. Additionally, Jourdan had two outstanding arrest warrants. Jourdan was transported and remanded to Matsu Pre-trial Facility in Palmer without bail.

    On 12/10/2025, at approximately 1749 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a vehicle collision near the intersection of Parks and Vine Road in Wasilla. EMS and AST responded to the scene. AST contacted Juliana Winegarden, age 56 of Wasilla. Investigation revealed she caused the collision and was intoxicated. Juliana was arrested for the crime of DUI. Juliana was transported to Matsu Pretrial where she was remanded and held on a $500 bail.

    ON 12/09/2025 AT APPROXIMATELY 1520 HOURS, COURT SERVICES OFFICERS CONTACTED VLADIMIR RANAUNAUT AGE 39 OUT OF ANCHORAGE AT THE BONEY COURT HOUSE IN ANCHORAGE. DURING THEIR CONTACT, THE COURT SERVICE OFFICERS DISCOVERED MR. RANAUNAUT HAD AN ACTIVE ARREST WARRANT FOR ASSAULT- RECKLESS PHYSICAL INJURY OUT OF ANCHORAGE POLICE DEPARTMENT. MR. RANAUNAUT WAS ARRESTED AND REMANDED TO ANCHORAGE JAIL FOR THE NO BAIL ARREST WARRANT.
