On 01/09/2026 at about 2014 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of an assault at a residence on Forest Park Drive. Investigation revealed that Ronda Lindley, age 72 of Ketchikan had assaulted a family member. Further investigation revealed that Lindley was violating current conditions of release set by the Ketchikan Courthouse by consuming alcohol. Lindley was arrested for Assault in the 4th Degree DV, and VCOR.

On 1/10/2026 at approximately 0237 hours, AST received a report of a disturbance in Hydaburg. The call originally came in as a 911 hang up. Shortly after, AST received a call from stating that Maxim Zacharof, age 24 of Hydaburg was causing a disturbance. Investigation revealed Maxim to caused physical injury to a household member. The assault happened in front of their three children. Maxim was intoxicated and was violating his probation. Maxim admitted to consuming alcohol. Maxim was arrested for DV Assault 4, Assault in the presence of a child x3 and per probation a probation violation. On 01/10/2026 at about 1630 hours, the Alaska State Troopers contacted and arrested Toniann Hoelscher, age 29 of Ketchikan at a residence in the 1700 Block of 1st Street. Hoelscher had an outstanding arrest warrant for VCOR. The original charges stem from Assault in the 4th Degree. Hoelscher was transported and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center.

On January 10, 2026, at 7:47 am, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of an adult female gunshot wound victim who had been transported to a local area hospital. It was reported that she had been shot outside her residence in the Meadow Lakes area of Wasilla. She is reported to be in stable condition. No ongoing threat to the public has been identified at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

On 1/9/2026 at approximately 2324 hours, Palmer AST responded to a single vehicle collision near Mile 47 of the Parks Highway. Troopers located the driver nearby, identified as Christopher Harris (44YOA) of Wasilla. Through investigation, it was determined that Harris was driving under the influence. Harris was remanded at Mat-Su Pretrial and held per the bail schedule.

On January 10, 2026, at approximately 12:05 hours, AST responded to a report of an individual at a residence on Chinook Drive that was not supposed to be there and was unknown to the homeowner. The individual was ultimately taken into custody and remanded at the Fairbanks Correctional Facility. The individual was charged with Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree.

On 01/10/2026 at approximately 1306 hours, Alaska State Troopers were patrolling the Tok area. AST observed Curtis P. Sam driving a vehicle a silver 2008 Ford Escape bearing AK plate KLD614 while his license is in suspended status. Sam was contacted by AST and subsequent investigation resulted in a DUI arrest. Charges of Driving Under the Influence, Driving While License Suspended and Liability Insurance Required, were submitted to the Fairbanks District Attorney’s Office. Sam was released on his own recognizance.
