On 01/14/2025 at approximately 1000 hours, Court Services Officers assigned to Palmer Judicial Services arrested Todd Vincent Roberson, age 34, of Palmer. Roberson was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree. Roberson was served with the warrant while in-custody at Goose Creek Correctional Center in Wasilla on unrelated charges. Bail was set at $500 cash appearance.

On 1/15/2025 at approximately 0014 hours, AST received a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Trennie Loop in Wasilla. Investigation revealed that the driver identified as Sydney Floyd-Mosby, age 25, of Wasilla was operating her vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Sydney was arrested and remanded to MSPT, where she was released on her own recognizance.

On 01/14/2025 at approximately 2334 hours, Alaska State Troopers attempted to stop a gray Chevrolet Equinox for speeding, 75 mph in a posted 50 mph zone on Bogard road near Engstrom Road. The vehicle failed to yield for approximately 6 miles while traveling at speeds over 115 mph and without any lights illuminated. The vehicle abruptly stopped on Palmer Fishhook Road near Cuningham Road where the driver and sole occupant, Luke Kimpton age 21 of Wasilla, was arrested without further incident. Kimpton was remanded to Matsu Pretrial on charges of Fail to Stop 1st, DUI, Refusal, and MIW 4th.

On 1/14/25 at 2221 hours Alaska State Troopers received a report of a disturbance on Old Matanuska Rd. Investigation revealed Hunter Stanfield, 25 of Wasilla, recklessly caused physical injury to a household member. Hunter was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial on charges of Assault 4 DV, Interfering with the Report of a DV Crime, Assault in the Presence of a Child, and Theft 3.

On January 15, 2025, at approximately 0134 hours, the Alaska State Troopers were notified that EMS was enroute to a 54-year-old male who was not breathing. EMS arrived and attempted life-saving measures but were unsuccessful. The male was identified as Joseph Dimico, age 54 of North Pole. After investigation, the death appears to be from natural causes, and no foul play is suspected at this time. The next of kin was notified.

On January 11, 2025, The Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks responded to the area of Geode Ln for a 911 Hang up. One of the occupants of the residence was identified as Charlene Buffas. A routine check located a warrant for her arrest. Charlene was remanded to FCC.

On January 11th, 2025, at approximately 1:48 PM the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a suspicious circumstance in Chalkyitsik. Investigation revealed that Nicholas Henry, 29, of Chalkyitsik assaulted another member of the village. AST was unable to locate Nicholas. Charges are being forwarded to the District Attorney's Office.
