  Type: Warrant Arrest

  Dispatch Text:

  On 12/21/2025, at approximately 1500 hours, Seward AST went to a residence on Camelot Rd in an attempt to contact Samuel Lawson for an outstanding bench warrant for failing to appear at a recent court hearing. Lawson was present and placed under arrest without incident, and then remanded at Spring Creek Correctional Center where he was held on a $500 cash bail.

  Type: Criminal Mischief 3, Assault 4, and Resisting Arrest

  Dispatch Text:

  On December 20th, 2025 at approximately 1833 hours AST responded to a report of a disturbance in the Wasilla area. AST contacted 45 year old Joshua Shandy, of Wasilla. Further investigation revealed that Joshua had damaged several items and was placed under arrest for Criminal Mischief 3 (DV). Joshua was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial for Criminal Mischief 3 (DV), Assault 4, and Resisting Arrest.

  Type: Failure to stop

  Dispatch Text:

  On 12/20/2025 at approximately 2058 hours, the Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was driving recklessly through traffic in downtown Wasilla.  The vehicle failed to stop and fled from Troopers, continuing to drive recklessly and in the opposite lane of travel on winding, unlit roads.  The vehicle came to a stop near the front entrance of Walmart where Troopers detained the driver, identified as Justice Reed (21YOA) of Houston.  Justice was placed under arrest for felony failure to stop at the direction of a peace officer and remanded at Mat-Su Pretrial where he was held per the bail schedule.

  Type: Assault 2 (DV)

  Dispatch Text:

  On December 21st, 2025 at approximately 0100 hours, AST responded to a report of a rolling disturbance in the Wasilla area. AST contacted 23 year old Conner Creek, of Willow, in his vehicle. Investigation revealed that Conner had assaulted a household member. He was arrested and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial on one count of Assault in the Second Degree. He has no bail.

  Type: Assault 4th (DV) and Assault in the Presence of a Child (x2)

  Dispatch Text:

  On 12/20/2025 at 2308 hours the Alaska State Troopers responded to a disturbance in Cantwell.  Investigation determined Robert Frazer, age 35 from Cantwell caused physical injury to a family member in the presence of two children.  Frazer was arrested and remanded to FCC where he was held without bail pending arraignment for Assault 4th (DV) and Assault in the Presence of a Child (DV) (x2).  Alcohol was considered to be a contributing factor.

  Dispatch Text:

  On 12/21/25 at approximately 1407 hours, the Fairbanks Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a deceased person in the Fairbanks area.  Investigation determined that the death was natural and foul play was not suspected.  The State Medical examiner was notified, an autopsy declined and the remains were released to the family.  The next of kin were advised.

AK Div of Fire and Life Safety

  Type: Residential Structure Fire

  Dispatch Text:

  On Friday, December 19, 2025, at approximately 0230 hours, a residential structure fire was reported in the community of Hooper Bay. The Alaska State Troopers and a Deputy Fire Marshal from Fairbanks responded to conduct an origin and cause investigation. The structure was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and the structure and associated contents are a total loss. Based upon the scene examination in conjunction with interviews with the resident and first responders, the fire appears to have occurred under suspicious circumstances. A person of interest has been identified, and the investigation is on-going.
