On 02/27/2025 at approximately 2030 hours, Alaska State Troopers arrested Dennis Haugdahl, age 60, of Big Lake on an arrest warrant for 2 counts of DV Assault Fourth Degree, and Criminal Mischief Fourth Degree. Haugdahl was remanded at Mat-Su Pretrial and held without bail.

On February 27th, 2025 at approximately 2300 hours AST responded to a report of an assault. AST contacted Abdul Adepoju age 39, and further investigation determined he had assaulted family members. Abdul was placed under arrest and transported to Mat-Su Pretrial where he was remanded without bail on one count of Assault in the Second Degree, one count of Assault in the Fourth degree, two counts of Assault in the Presence of a Minor, one count of Criminal Mischief V, one count of Criminal Mischief IV, and four counts of Violating the Conditions of his Release.

On 02/27/2025 at approximately 2329 hours AST received a report of a suspicious vehicle broken down in the roadway near Ridgecrest Rd and Jay J St. AST contacted a male near the vehicle, who was identified as Shane Anselm, age 30, of Wasilla. Shane was revealed to have an outstanding felony warrant for Assault in the Third Degree. Shane was arrested by AST and remanded at Mat-Su pretrial for his warrant.

On 02/28/2025, Court Services Officers assigned to Palmer Judicial Services arrested Vincent Castro, age 32 from Wasilla. Castro had an active warrant for his arrest for failure to remand on 11/25/2024 on the charges of DUI, Failure to Submit to Chemical Test, and VCOR x3. Castro was remanded to Mat Su Pretrial to serve his sentence.

On 3/28/2025 at approximately 1200 hours, Palmer Judicial Services arrested Christopher Hofmann, age 53 of Wasilla, at the Palmer Courthouse following the conclusion of a jury trial. Hofmann was found guilty of three (3) counts of Assault III and thirty-five (35) counts of Violating Conditions of Release involving domestic violence. Hofmann was subsequently remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility without incident.

On 02/28/2025 at 1553 hours dispatch took a call for service regarding a man passed out behind the wheel at a Circle K gas station in Fairbanks. Troopers responded, and ultimately Aaron Cornelius was arrested for DUI and MICS 5.

On 02/28/2025 at 1554 hours the Alaska State Troopers conducted a stop near Mile 210 Parks Highway in Cantwell for a moving violation. Initially the passenger provided a false name; investigation determined the passenger, Nathan Wright, age 33 from Wasilla provided a false name to avoid arrest for an outstanding warrant. Wright was arrested for False Report and outstanding $250 misdemeanor arrest warrant for Failure to Appear on the initial charge of Misuse of Plates. The driver, Amber Mazac, age 30 from Wasilla was issued a summons for Hindering Prosecution 2nd and additional charges may be pending for her as well.

On 2-28-25 law enforcement stopped a vehicle near the Eilson Airforce Base exit on the Richardson Highway. Investigation revealed that Wassnode Migwans, age 32 of Whitehorse was operating a motor vehicle under the influence. Migwans was arrested and transported to the Fairbanks Trooper Post for Datamaster, which showed a BrAc of .169. Migwans was remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center on the charge of driving under the influence.
