On 03/18/2025, at approximately 1742 hours, AST received a report of an assault from a household member of Justin Corns. Through investigation, it was discovered that the victim was assaulted by Justin Corns causing serious physical injury. Justin Corns was located in Houston and placed under arrest. He was transported and remanded at Mat-SU pre-trail for Assault 2, Assault 3, and Assault 4 to be held with no bail.

On 3/19/2025 AST in Palmer was made aware that Chad Buckalew had a warrant for his arrest for violation of a protection order. He was located in Palmer by Troopers and placed under arrest. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial on his warrant and held without bail.

On 3/18/2025 at about 2042 hours, Fairbanks 911 Dispatch Center received a 911 call from a Good Sarmatian reporting they had heard a child crying inside a parked car. Investigation revealed a 20-month-old child was abandoned in a car parked at a local hotel/bar parking lot in Healy. The child was crying, the vehicle was off, with a window partly opened with outside temperatures at 6 degrees Fahrenheit. Tri Valley EMS responded, removed the child from the vehicle and provided treatment for hypothermia. No parent or guardian was immediately found for the child and medics transported the 20-month-old to the EMS/Fire Department for additional treatment. The child’s mother, LILLIAN JOHNSON, age 38 of Fairbanks, exited the hotel after EMS had already left with her child. Alaska State Troopers responded to investigate. Investigation revealed LILLIAN JOHNSON had left her child in the car to have a romantic rendezvous with a guest at the hotel. Based on hotel security video, LILLIAN was inside the hotel from approximately 20:18 hours until 20:53 hours (35 minutes) before returning to check on the child finding EMS had already left with the child.
The child was treated for early stages of hypothermia.
LILLIAN was arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child 1st Degree and remanded to FCC.

Investigation revealed that the driver, Vladan Jesic, age 32 of Fairbanks, was driving while under the influence. Vladan was arrested for DUI and transported to FCC following Datamaster processing.

On 3-19-25, at approximately 1340 hours, Parks Highway Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle at mile 312 Parks Highway for speeding. An investigation disclosed a passenger William Crandell Age 59, of Fairbanks had an outstanding warrant. The original charge of obstructing a court order. Crandall was remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center with no bail as the warrant was failure to report to jail to serve time.

On 03/15/2025 at 2048 hours the Alaska State Troopers received a REDDI report involving two black Chargers traveling north on the Parks Highway. One of the vehicles was contacted in Healy and investigation determined one of the passengers, identified as Oran Brown, age 19 from North Pole had an outstanding $250 misdemeanor arrest warrant. Brown was arrested for his warrant and remanded.
