On 06/28/2025 AST received reports of a potential disturbance in Wasilla. AST responded on scene, and through investigation, determined that Theresa George, age 28, of Anchorage, had recklessly placed a household member in fear of imminent physical injury via her conduct. Theresa was arrested on charges of Assault 4 DV and transported to MatSu pretrial where she is being held without bail.

On 06/28/2025 at approximately 1015 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to an assault in Wasilla. Following the investigation, Derek Kosbruk, age 34 of Wasilla, was arrested and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial for domestic violence-related assault in the fourth degree and assault in the presence of a child.

UPDATE: On 06/27/2025 at 2158 hours Vincent Roberts was taken into custody near Stampede Road in Healy. The Parks Highway Troopers were assisted by Troopers from Fairbanks, the Fairbanks Criminal Suppression Unit, AWT, Helo 2, National Park Rangers, a National Park helicopter, the Northern AST SWAT Team, Alaska Railroad Police, Troopers from the Matsu Valley, K9 Blitz, Tri-Valley EMS/Fire, and other partners. AST would like to thank the public for assistance and tips leading to the apprehension of Roberts.
On 06/26/2025 at 1917 hours Parks Highway Troopers conducted a traffic stop near Mile 189 Parks Highway for a moving violation. The vehicle initially stopped but then decided to drive away. The driver was identified as Vincent Roberts, age 40 from Fairbanks. AST pursued Roberts for 56 miles to Mile 245 where his car was successfully stopped when Roberts crashed after AST deflated his tires and performed a PIT maneuver, but Roberts fled on foot. AST utilized an unmanned drone, HELO 2, and assistance from AWT and NPS Rangers from Denali. As of this time Roberts has not been located by AST and an arrest warrant has been requested for him. Anyone having to take evasive action from Roberts driving is requested to contact Trooper David Bozman at 907-451-5100. Roberts should be considered armed and dangerous.

On 06/28/2025 at 0705 hours Troopers responded to 18-mile Steese Highway in regard to a male walking in the middle of the roadway. This was the second call for service that night where Troopers responded to this male walking in the lane of traffic on a roadway. The male was not cooperative, refused to ID himself, and ultimately fought with Troopers. Jarrod Charge was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

On 06/28/25 at approximately 1230 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a call of a disturbance at Midnight Sun Golf Course. Investigation revealed that James Villa (Age 21 of Wasilla) was grabbing and assaulting a staff member. The charge of assault IV is being forwarded to the District Attorney’s office.

On June 28, 2025, at 2:54pm, the Alaska Wildlife Troopers received a report of an overturned or swamped fishing vessel “Happy Hooker” in the shallows off the beach in the Ugashik Fishing District, outside King Salmon, near Pilot Point, with three commercial fishermen in survival suits, stuck on the listing boat. The P/V Audrey Ann was in the district due to the ongoing commercial fishery and responded. Troopers were able to rescue all three under very challenging wind and surf conditions, from the Audrey Ann’s skiff. All three survivors declined medical attention.
