On 08/18/2025 Alaska State Troopers contacted Jessica Marks, age 42, of Houston, following a traffic stop near mile 67 of the Parks Highway. Marks was found to have an an outstanding arrest warrant for DUI; Marks was arrested and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial in lieu of $200.00 bond.

On 08/19/2025 at approximately 1230 hours, Court Services Officers assigned to Palmer Judicial Services arrested Michael Segundo, age 37, of Palmer on an outstanding arrest warrant for Fugitive from Justice. Segundo was served with the warrant while in-custody at Palmer Correctional Center on unrelated charges. Bail was set at no bail.

On 08/18/2025 at approximately 2330 hours, AST conducted a traffic stop near Vine Rd. The following investigation revealed that the driver, Denali Simpson, 33 YOA, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Denali was arrested and transported to MSPT, where he was held on $500.00 bail.

On 8/8/19/25, at approximately 0203 hours, AST responded to a disturbance at 9521 W Winter Way. Investigation revealed that Forrest Shumaker age 33, had broken a vehicle window with an estimated cost between $300-$350. The vehicle is shared with his girlfriend. Forrest was arrested for Criminal Mischief 4 DV.

On 8/19/2025, at approximately 0116 hours, Troopers observed a black sedan fail to yield to a stationary patrol vehicle with emergency lights activated. The driver, identified as Skyler Blender, was contacted and displayed signs of intoxication, and had brass knuckles were found concealed in his pocket. Skyler performed poorly on SFSTs and provided a PBT of .153 BrAC, followed by a DataMaster result of .158 BrAC. He was arrested and remanded to FCC for DUI and MIW4.

On August 17, 2025, Alaska State Troopers received a report of an assault in Tok. Investigation revealed that 22-year-old Liko Sellin, of Fairbanks, had assaulted and sexually assaulted a female. After the assault, Sellin returned to Fairbanks and destroyed evidence. Sellin was contacted and arrested on August 19, 2025 has been charged with Sexual Assault 1, Assault 2, Kidnapping and Tampering with Evidence.
