On 11/23/2025 at approximately 1954 hours, AST received a report of domestic violence assault in Wasilla. The investigation revealed that Anthony Lee, 43 YO of Wasilla, had assaulted a family member in the presence of minor children, damaged a cell phone, interfered with the report of a DV crime and spat in a family members’ face. Anthony was arrested without incident and transported to Mat-Su Pretrial for DV Assault 4 AS11.41.230(a)(1), Interfering with the report of a DV crime AS11.56.745(a), DV Criminal Mischief 5 AS11.46.486(a)(2), two charges of DV Assault in the presence of a child AS11.46.240(a), and Harassment 1 AS11.61.118(a)(1) and given no bail.

On November 23, 2025, at approximately 2151, the Alaska State Troopers responded to Chena Hot Springs Resort for a report of a person being belligerent and refusing to leave. Investigation showed that Skyler Lee, 38YOA of Anchorage, committed the offense of Criminal Trespass 2. Skyler was remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center.

On the evening of November 23, 2025, a traffic stop was conducted on the Richardson Highway after a vehicle was observed traveling without taillights. The driver displayed signs of impairment and agreed to participate in field sobriety tests, which indicated his intoxication. The individual was arrested for driving under the influence and transported to the Trooper post for further processing. A breath test confirmed a BrAC of 0.238. The case is being referred for prosecution.

UPDATE, 3 p.m. Nov. 24, 2025: Effie Kemp was located deceased. Her next of kin have been notified. Reference Incident AK25117747 for additional information.
ORIGINAL: Alaska State Troopers are asking for assistance locating 78-year-old Effie Kemp. Troopers received a report on Nov. 24, 2025 at 10:50 a.m. that she walked away from an assisted living home on Palo Verde Road in Fairbanks around 9 a.m. Kemp walks with a cane. She is Alaska Native, weighs roughly 125 lbs., is 5’6” tall, and has gray hair and no teeth. Kemp was last seen wearing a long black coat, black mittens and tennis shoes. UPDATE: Alaska State Troopers identified the missing person as 78-year-old Effie Kemp. Foul play is not suspected to be a factor in her death.
ORIGINAL: On 11/24/25 at approximately 1050 hours, the Fairbanks Alaska State Troopers received a report of an elderly person who walked away from and assisted living home in the Fairbanks area. Troopers, PAWS and the AST helicopter responded. At approximately 1323 hours, the person was located deceased near the facility. Next of Kin were notified and the remains will be sent to the State Medical Examiner's office for an autopsy.

On November 22, 2025, at approximately 1957hrs, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a silver Chevrolet Trailblazer at the intersection of University Avenue and Holden Avenue in Fairbanks after observing multiple traffic violations. The driver, identified as Terrell Coger, was found to have a revoked license, no insurance, and was operating a vehicle without a required ignition interlock device. Coger was arrested and remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center on charges including Driving While License Revoked and No Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance.

On 11/19/2025 at approximately 1630 hours, the Highway Interdiction K9 Team conducted a traffic stop on white Chevy van on E. Bogard Road near Helen Lane in Wasilla. Investigation revealed the driver, Abraham Foytik age 26 of Anchorage, had an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure to Appear in court on the original charge of Theft 3rd Degree with a $300 bail amount. Additionally, the passenger, Zachariah Cook age 26, had two outstanding arrest warrants for Theft 2nd Degree x4, Fraudulent Use of an Access Device, and a Probation Violation with a total $10,000 bail amount. Foytik and Cook were remanded to MAT-SU Pretrial where they were held on their bail.
