On 02/15/2025 the Alaska State Troopers located and arrested, Christopher Wright, age 31 of Wasilla who had an outstanding $500 bench warrant for the original crimes of Vehicle Theft, Theft 2 and Reckless Driving. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pre-Trial without incident.

On February 15, 2025, at approximately 0213 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a disturbance at the Extended Stay Hotel. After investigation, Charles Reed, age 46, was arrested for Criminal Mischief in the 3rd degree and Assault in the 4th degree. He was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center.

On 02/15/2025 at approximately 0548 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report that Jovanna Westby, age 33 of Fairbanks, was missing. Jovanna was last seen at approximately 2200 hours on 02/13/2025 wearing a black/camo winter coat, black t-shirt, gray sweatpants, white tennis shoes, and a headband. A missing person report was completed.
Update: Jovanna was located and is safe.

On February 15, 2025, at approximately 0035 hours, AST responded to the area of Geist Rd for a theft report. Investigation revealed that John Rexford, age 24 of Fairbanks, was trespassing on a property after refusing to leave. John was arrested and transported to FCC for Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree.

On 2/10/25 at about 1356 hours, Troopers responded to the speedway on College Rd for the report of a possible Hit and Run on University and Deborah Ave. After further investigation the driver of one vehicle, Jeffrey Francis, had a warrant for his arrest and was on the run from probation. Jeffrey was remanded on his warrant. A MICS 5 charge will also be added pending lab results from the crime lab.

On 2/15/2025 Soldotna Alaska Wildlife Troopers contacted Logen Griffel, age 27, of Nikiski. Griffel was unable to produce a 2025 Sport Fishing license while participating in ice fishing. Griffel was issued a $200.00 citation for sport fishing without a license.
