On 02/08/2026 at approximately 2133 hours, the Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop near Big Lake Road and Hollywood Road on a vehicle for an equipment violation. Investigation revealed Seyran Andreasyan age 47 of Wasilla was in possession of a concealable firearm while being a convicted felon. On 2/8/26 at approximately 1941 hours, AST received a report of a disturbance at a residence in Wasilla. Investigation revealed that Michael Shaw age 35 of Wasilla, assaulted a household member. Michael was arrested and transported to MSPT, where he was held with no bail for Assault 3 DV, Assault 4 DV, and Assault in the Presence of a Child x2.

On 2/8/2026 at approximately 1037 hours, Teerri Christiansen called AST to report her baby daddy took off with their 6-day old baby without a car seat in the area of KGB and Harbor View Rd. Upon investigation the baby’s father was unbuckling the baby from the car seat because she was driving unsafely with the child. Teerri started hitting him on the back and head. She then closed the car door on his knee before he managed to remove the baby and leave the area. Teerri has 2 prior A4 convictions. On 02/09/2026 at approximately 0729 hours, AST was conducting traffic enforcement on the Glenn Hwy at around mile marker 36 near Palmer. AST observed a black Ford Fiesta traveling northbound at 83 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. The Trooper initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the driver as Stephen Kammermeyer, age 57 of Palmer. Investigation revealed that Stephen had an arrest warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on the charge of assault 4th degree. Stephen was arrested and issued two citations, speeding and expired registration. Stephen’s vehicle was impounded. On 09/22/2025, Bethel AWT received information from the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) regarding a bull moose that may have been taken in a closed area. Investigation determined that Clinton Slim (age 28 of Kipnuk) harvested a bull moose in Game Management Unit (GMU) 19A, where a Tier II subsistence permit (TM680) is required. Slim possessed only a GMU 18 registration permit (RM615) at the time of harvest.
