On 4/28/26 at approximately 0957 hours, an individual in the Tall Tree Ave. area reported that Guy Foreman (45 YOA) of Anchor Point had just physically assaulted him and stolen his vehicle. Guy Foreman was then located with the vehicle near Homestead Rd. in Happy Valley. Subsequent investigation and interviews showed that Guy Foreman physically assaulted the complainant resulting in physical injury and then stole their vehicle. Foreman’s license status is currently suspended with a prior conviction for DWLS on 12/17/25. Foreman was arrested for Vehicle Theft in the 1st, Assault in the 4th, and DWLS. He was remanded at Homer Jail with no bail.

On April 28, 2026, at approximately 0915 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to the area of Behm Canal east of Ketchikan for a deceased person. Investigation revealed that Michael Austin, 51 years old of Derby Kansas, passed away due to medical complications from a known condition. Next of kin was notified and the deceased was released to the Ketchikan mortuary to make arrangements with the family.

Location: WasillaType: REDDI, DUI, Refusal to Submit to Chemical TestDispatch Text:
On 04/27/2026 at approximately 1946 hours, AST received a report of a REDDI on the Parks Highway. AST located the vehicle in downtown Wasilla and stopped it for a moving violation. The following investigation revealed that Nicholas Bailey, 40 YOA, was operating a motor vehicle while under the impairment of alcohol. Nicholas was arrested and charged with DUI and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. He was transported to MSPT, where he was remanded and held on $1,000.00 bail.

On 04/27/2026 at approximately 1800 hours, AST responded to a disturbance near Trunk and PWH. The following investigation revealed that Deven Werts, 26 YOA, had placed a household member in fear of imminent physical injury. Deven was arrested and transported to MSPT, where he was remanded and held on no bail.

On 4-28-26 AST investigated a report of Violation of Conditions of Release. Investigation showed that Micaela Sherman, age 31 of Fairbanks, committed the offenses of VCOR and Unlawful Contact 1st. She was remanded to FCC without incident.

On 4-28-26 at approximately 1000 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a theft from a residence near Freeman Road in North Pole. The suspect fled the residence with a sixty dollars in goods. The investigation is still ongoing.

On 04/28/2026, the Alaska State Troopers Fairbanks Dispatch received a report of a domestic disturbance in the Fairbanks area. Troopers responded, and after an investigation, it was determined that Julianna Nicholson, 28 years old, had violated her conditions of release. Nicholson was placed under arrest and remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center without incident.

At approximately 1430 hours on 20 April 2026, Alaska State Troopers responded to the theft of a government vehicle. The vehicle was reported stolen from the Geist Road Post Office and recovered on 17th Street in Fairbanks. Investigation is ongoing.
