On April 29, 2026, at approximately 0913 hours, AST stopped out with a brown Chevy Suburban on the side of Kenai Spur Hwy as it appeared stuck in the mud. Investigation revealed Trevor Hallstead, age 31 of Kenai, was impaired and had driven the vehicle to its final resting spot. Trevor was arrested and remanded at Wildwood Correctional Complex for DUI and DWLR where he was held with $500 bail.

On 4/29/2026 at approximately 1050 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to River City Academy for a reported theft and drug incident. Investigation revealed a 15 year old student had stolen items from a locker room and was in possession of marijuana products on school grounds. The student was arrested for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance 4th and Theft 4th, then remanded at Kenai Peninsula Youth Facility.

On 4/28/26 at 2335 hours, Troopers responded to report of a female trespassing in a residence on East End Road. An investigation led to the arrest of Lauren McKenney, 39 of Polermo, ME, for criminal trespass. McKenney was transported and remanded into the Homer Jail. On 4/29/26 at 0020 hours, Troopers responded to a disturbance at a residence on East End Road. During the investigation, Troopers contacted Raphael Ross, 30 of Homer, who was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. On 04/28/2026 at approximately 2330 hours, AST responded to a residence near Lucille. While there, AST contacted Jeffery Clement, 35 YOA. MATCOM Dispatch reported that Jeffery had an outstanding Felony warrant for failure to comply with probation, with an original charge of Theft 2. Jeffery was arrested without incident. He was transported to MSPT, where he was given $1,000.00 bail and held until he could see a judge.

On 4/28/2026 at approximately 2200 hours, AST received a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence on Quiet Circle. Following an investigation, it was revealed that Ross Turner, 33 YOA, had assaulted a family member causing physical injury. It was also determined that a child under the age of 16 YOA was present in the residence during the incident. Location: NapakiakType: Multiple Incidents Involving FirearmsDispatch Text:
On April 28, 2026, Alaska State Troopers received multiple reports from the village of Napakiak that residents Hubert Southern age 45, Matthew Black age 34, and Wilson White age 36, were walking around with firearms, threatening community members, and causing disturbances. AST responded and contacted Matthew, who was yelling outside a residence; he was taken into custody without further incident. Hubert fled on a snowmachine while intoxicated and armed with a shotgun; after multiple attempts to stop him, he returned to his residence, where Troopers tackled him off the snowmachine and placed him under arrest. Wilson was later contacted at his residence after additional disturbances and was also arrested. Hubert was charged with Assault 3, Misconduct Involving Weapons 4, DUI, Harassment 1, and Resisting Arrest; Matthew was charged with Misconduct Involving Weapons 4; and Wilson was charged with Terroristic Threatening 2 and Assault 3.

Location: KodiakType: Perjury, Failure to Register SORDispatch Text:
On April 29, 2026, Task Force Dawnbreaker - consisting of Alaska Bureau of Investigation Technical Crime Unit, and the US Dept. of Homeland Security Investigations, along with Kodiak AST Patrol, and Kodiak PD contacted Cecil Lime (age 70 of Kodiak) during a child sexual abuse material investigation. During the investigation it was determined that Lime had numerous online and social media accounts that were not registered on his Sex Offender Registry per requirements. Lime was arrested on Perjury, and FTR II charges without incident, and remanded to the Kodiak Jail on no bail.
