On 5/3/2026 at approximately 0016, AST received a report of a disturbance at the 4 Royal Parker bar. Investigation revealed that 26-year-old Roman Everett, who was highly intoxicated, had bitten the finger of one of the bar tenders, then left in a cab. AST located and stopped the cab with the help of the Kenai police department. Further investigation revealed that Everet had shoved and slapped his girlfriend while in the cab, causing pain. Everett was remanded to Wildwood pretrial on two charges of assault in the fourth degree, one of which was D.V

On 5/2/2026, at approximately 1301 hours, AST received notification via numerous 911 calls of a multi-vehicle accident at mile 56.5 Seward Highway, the Hope Highway junction. A total of three vehicles were involved in the collision, all sustaining disabling damage. A total of four patients were transported for medical care, and one individual died as a result of the collision - James Pollack Sr., age 67 of Homer. The Seward Highway was closed for approximately three hours during the investigation.
AST requests that anyone who witnessed or captured dash camera footage of the accident to call 907-262-4453.

On May 3, 2026 at approximately 0535 hours, AST received a call for a domestic assault in Wasilla. Investigation revealed that Kenneth Arrants negligently caused physical injury by means of a dangerous instrument. He was remanded into MSPT where he was charged with DV Assault in the 4th. On 05/01/2026 at approximately 1956 hours a Glennallen Trooper contacted a vehicle at Eureka Lodge. After additional observations and investigation, a search was conducted. Suspected Methamphetamine and Alprazolam (a schedule IVA controlled substance) was seized from the vehicle. Additionally, Fentanyl and Methamphetamine drug paraphernalia was seized. On 05/03/2026 at approximately 0318 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a vehicle parked partially in the road on the Old Glenn Highway. Following the investigation, Chase Means, age 22 of Eagle River, was arrested and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial for DUI and misconduct involving a weapon in the fourth degree.

On 5-2-26 at approximately 1430 hours, after assisting EMS the Alaska State Troopers were notified of an assault at a residence in Gold Rush Estates. Investigation showed that Jasmine Kignak, age 37 of Fairbanks threatened another person with a pair of Scissors. Jasmine was arrested and remanded to FCC on the charge of assault III. Alcohol was a factor.

On Apr 30, 2026 at approximately 12:18PM AST received a call in reference to a known subject being located at a residence in Fairbanks and had an active warrant for sexual assault of a minor. The warrant was confirmed through dispatch and contact was made. The subject was arrested without further incident and transported to Fairbanks Correctional Center for further detention.
