On 3/13/2026, 44-year-old Heather Heidorn from Ketchikan, came into the Trooper Post and requested a routine background check. During this process, troopers discovered an outstanding arrest warrant for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree in the amount of 10K had been issued by the Anchorage Court the day prior. Heather was promptly arrested without incident and transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was remanded on the warrant.

On 03/13/2026 at approximately 1758 hours, a Trooper observed Donzell Mcgaskey driving on the Glenn Highway near IGA. The Trooper knew Donzell had a revoked license and contacted him. He has multiple prior driving while revoked convictions in the last ten years. On March 09, 2026, at approximately 0454 hours, Fairbanks AST responded to a report of an MVC between a vehicle and semi on Geist and Rebecca St. Investigation revealed the smaller vehicle slid through a stop sign on Rebecca St, striking the semi trailer's rear tire. On March 08, 2026, at approximately 0440 hours, Fairbanks AST responded to a vehicle collision rollover with entrapment on Mile 29 of Chena Hot Springs. The driver and passenger were extracted, interviewed, and transported to the hospital via EMS. The vehicle was flagged and remained off the roadway. On March 02, 2026, at approximately 0638 hours, Fairbanks AST responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on mile 354 of the Richardson Hwy northbound. Upon arrival on the scene, the investigation revealed that the first vehicle struck the second vehicle due to obstructed vision when trying to merge into the left lane. On 03/13/2026 at 0031 hours, State Troopers attempted to stop a red Chevrolet Monte Carlo for speeding. After emergency lights and siren were activated, the driver accelerated and continued along Van Horn Road, passing multiple clearly available and safe locations to stop before eventually halting on N. Van Horn Street. The driver was identified as Brandon Barron, who had an active arrest warrant. He was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center and charged with Failure to Stop at the Direction of a Peace Officer for knowingly failing to stop as soon as practicable and in a reasonably safe manner.

On 03/12/2026 at approximately 22:25 hours, Fairbanks AST Dispatch received a report of an intoxicated female identified as Ahdalah Panikak Williamson 41 years old. Williamson was located, arrested, and remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center on an outstanding warrant.

Investigation showed James Peet, 81 of Healy, assaulted a family member. In May 2025, the Alaska Bureau of Investigation was notified that an Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development employee had removed large volumes of confidential and legally protected information from an official database. Technical Crimes Investigators determined that 56-year-old Anchorage resident Paul Janis had transferred approximately 104,819 files to a personal hard drive and brought the drive to his Anchorage home, where he concealed it. Investigators seized and secured the drive and its files before any information could be disseminated from it. In February 2026, Janis was charged with one count of Criminal Use of a Computer. He was issued a mandatory order of appearance for the criminal charge and made his first court appearance on March 13, 2026.
