On 4/26/26, Alaska State Troopers conducted a warrant arrest at an address near Eastway Rd in Kenai. Marshall Payton, 60, of Kenai was arrested for Failure to Appear in court for Driving While License Revoked. Marshall was arrested and remanded at Wildwood Pre-Trial.

On 4/25/26 at approximately 2344 hours, AST received a report of a disturbance in Palmer. Investigation revealed that Mariette Wassilie age 35 of Wasilla, caused $400-$600 worth of damage to her boyfriend's vehicle. Mariette was arrested and remanded to MSPT for Crim Mis 4 DV and VCOR.

On 04/26/2025 at approximately 0226 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a REDDI report leaving Wasilla. Troopers attempted to stop the vehicle, which in turn fled at a high rate of speed. During the pursuit, the vehicle failed to negotiate a roundabout and crashed. The sole occupant, Cody Decker, age 32 of Houston, exited the vehicle and was arrested. Decker was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial for Failure to stop at the direction of a peace officer and driving under the influence.

On 4/25/26 at approximately 0539 hours, AST responded to a report of a vehicle parked in the middle of the road at Seldon Rd and Wasilla-Fishhook Rd in Wasilla. Cameron Connally age 31 of Anchorage, and Brandi Smith 36 age of Anchorage were contacted in the vehicle. A stolen firearms was located inside the vehicle, and Cameron is a convicted felon. Cameron was arrested and remanded to MSPT for MIW 3, VCOR, and Theft 2. Brandi was arrested and remanded to MSPT for two warrants for Fail To Appear out of Anchorage.

On 4/26/26 at approximately 1109 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence on Snowgoose Road for a report of a disturbance. The investigation revealed that Natalie Naslund, age 43, of Palmer, physically assaulted a family member. Naslund was arrested for Assault IV(DV) and remanded to MSPT.

On 4/26/26 at approximately 1350 hours, Alaska State Troopers received multiple REDDI reports of a white BMW Sedan driving recklessly on the Glenn Highway in Palmer. AST located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Investigation revealed that the driver, David Bounous, age 19 of JBER, was operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Bounous was arrested for DUI and Reckless Driving and remanded to MSPT.

On April 26, 2026, at approximately 0021 hours, Fairbanks AST dispatch received a call of a disturbance off University Ave with what sounded like a woman outside the west side of an apartment complex yelling, cussing, hooting, and hollering since 2330 hours. Upon Troopers arrival on scene, Troopers contacted Anya Tumbloo (35), was given several disorderly conduct warnings, as it was late in the night. Anya continued to cause a disturbance. Anya was ultimately placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct under AS11.61.110(a)(2) and remanded to FCC.

On April 26, 2026, at 1509 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of damaged property from Kayleigh H. She stated that her husband, Nicholas H., had damaged her iPad during a dispute. Troopers contacted both parties and confirmed the device had been broken by Nicholas. No additional damage or safety concerns were observed. The investigation resulted in probable cause to believe Nicholas H. committed Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree. He was remanded to FCC.

On April 25, 2026, at 4:30pm, Alaska State Troopers received a 911 call reporting that a 42-year-old male had been caught in an avalanche approximately two miles east of the Flattop parking lot near Anchorage and that he had a broken leg. He reported that he had been with four other hikers, and he thought they had been buried in the avalanche and did not know their location. The Alaska Mountain Rescue Group (AMRG) was activated. State Parks Officers and a Bureau of Land Management Officer responded to the staging area at the Flattop parking lot. An Alaska Wildlife Trooper also responded and used a snowmachine to access the avalanche site and located the hiker. The Anchorage Fire Department staged at the parking lot and requested an ambulance. Further investigation revealed that two skiers happened to witness the avalanche and responded and dug out the hikers. The two additional victims had already been transported from the site to the parking lot by friends using snowmachines. AFD transported the 42-year-old male to an Anchorage Hospital for treatment of his leg injury.

On April 25, 2026, at 7:06pm, Alaska State Troopers received a 911 call reporting a hiker on Flattop Mountain in Anchorage was stuck in the snow and lost. He reported that he slides downhill every time he tries to move. An Alaska Wildlife Troopers responded to Flattop and coordinated with four Alaska Mountain Rescue Group (AMRG) members who were already on scene from a previous SAR. A State Parks Officer assisted on scene as well. AMRG was able to hike to the located approximately ¼ mile away from the parking lot and assist him downhill. No other resources were utilized, and no injuries were reported.
