On 5/4/2026 at approximately 1534 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report that Brian Keith Chunn, age 43 of Nikiski, had fled the custody of his third party custodian. He was on court ordered conditions of release, the original charge being Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance 4th. Chunn was unable to located. An arrest warrant was requested for the charge of Violation of Conditions of Release.

UPDATE 5/4: On May 2, 2026, Bradshaw was located deceased at a property in Wasilla. His body has been sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office for autopsy, and his next of kin have been notified. The circumstances surrounding Bradshaw's death remain under investigation.
ORIGINAL: On February 6, 2026, 60-year-old Palmer resident Randell Bradshaw was reported missing to law enforcement. He was last seen in the Palmer area on January 22, 2026. Troopers have determined that Bradshaw's disappearance is suspicious in nature, and the Alaska Bureau of Investigation has assumed case responsibility. Anybody with information about Bradshaw's location who has not already spoken to law enforcement is asked to call (907) 352-5401.

On 05/03/2026 at approximately 2210 hours, AST received a report of a disturbance near KGB. AST responded, and the following investigation revealed that Steven Landa, 43 YOA, had placed a household member in fear of imminent physical injury in front of multiple children. Steven was arrested and transported to MSPT, where he was remanded and held without bail.

On 5/4/2026 at approximately 1402 hours, Court Services Officers assigned to Palmer Judicial Services arrested Lori Osborn, 65, of Washington at the Palmer Courthouse for an outstanding arrest warrant. The warrant was for failing to comply with conditions of probation for the original charges of Assault III and DUI. Osborn was remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility with bail set at $5,000 cash and court approved conditions of release.

On May 3, 2026, at 5:45 am, Alaska State Troopers in Saint Mary's received a report of an overdue snowmachiner traveling from Grayling to Shageluk. The report stated that the snowmachiner had left Grayling on May 2 and was overdue to arrive at Shageluk. A search party was organized and located the snowmachiner at around 1:00 pm, 10 miles outside of Grayling, with a broken snowmachine. He was towed back to the village without any further issues.

On May 2, 2026, at 2:45 pm, Alaska State Troopers received a report of an at-risk adult who had gone into the woods in the Chena Lakes Recreation Area and could not be located. Alaska State Troopers, Helo 2, PAWS, and the North Pole Police Department began searching for the person and located them around 7 PM, showing signs of hypothermia. The person attempted to run from troopers and jumped into a nearby waterway. The person was pulled from the water and taken to a Fairbanks Hospital.

On May 4, 2026, Fairbanks Alaska State Troopers Dispatch received a report of a motor vehicle collision in the North Pole area involving a car traveling at a high rate of speed. The driver, identified as 25-year-old Michael Machado, reportedly lost control of the vehicle. Troopers and EMS responded to the scene, and both occupants of the vehicle were transported to the emergency room. The roadway was cleared following the incident.

On May 4, 2026, at approximately 1510 hours, the Alaska State Troopers located and contacted Talissa Solomon at a residence on Arctic Grayling after receiving tips from neighbors regarding her whereabouts. Solomon was taken into custody on her active warrant (4DJ-26-00020CR) without incident. She was transported and remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center on her warrant.

On 05/04/2026, Alaska State Troopers responded to an address in the Fairbanks area for a report of a disturbance. Upon investigation, it was determined that Tana Santos (26 YOA) was the principle physical aggressor in a physical altercation between a household member and her. Tana was arrested and remanded to FCC for Assault in the Fourth degree, Assault in the Third Degree, Assault in the Presence of a Child X2, and Misconduct Involving a Weapon in the Fourth degree.

AK Wildlife Troopers

Location: PalmerType: AvalancheDispatch Text:
On April 29, 2026, Alaska Wildlife Troopers were notified that the Alaska Rescue Coordination Center received a report of an avalanche near Mount Gannett, southeast of Palmer. The initial report indicated a heli-skier had been buried in the avalanche. The individual was recovered by a fellow skier within minutes and was transported to Mat Su Regional Medical Center by a commercial helicopter. The victim was identified as Dylan Lenzie, age 32, of Palmer. On May 2, 2026, Wildlife Troopers received an update that Lenzie had died as a result of his injuries. Next of kin has been notified.
