On 11/13/2025, Troopers in Anchor Point responded to a death located on the Old Sterling Highway. Investigation revealed that 96-year-old Jack Packer of Anchor Point, died of natural causes at his home. Next of kin was on scene.

On 11/16/2025, at approximately 1345 hours, Troopers in Anchor Point responded to Ninilchik for a welfare check on a subject with an outstanding warrant. 33-year-old Kenneth Targonsky of Ninilchik, was arrested and taken into custody without incident.

On 11/20/2025 at 0724 hours, Alaska State Troopers (AST) received a report from Valerie K. McDole that an accidental discharge of a firearm occurred inside her residence, resulting in a gunshot wound to her foot. AST and Emergency Services arrived on scene and transported McDole to South Peninsula Hospital. Further investigation revealed that Gregory V. Martin, present at the accident scene, was in Violation of Conditions of Release. At 1335 hours Martin was contacted by AST and placed under arrest. He was transported to Homer Jail, where he was remanded on one count of Violating Conditions of Release.

On 11/19/2025 at approximately 1539 hours, Soldotna AST received a report of a stolen vehicle from the Soldotna area. The complainant reported a green 2000 Ford Ranger had possibly been stolen by Deven Davis (age 32 of Soldotna). Davis was also wanted for (7) outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrants. A few hours later, at approximately 1904 hours, the vehicle was located by AST on Scout Lake Loop. The vehicle fled the scene and led AST on a several mile long pursuit, reaching speeds of 80MPH and violated multiple other traffic laws. A successful stop stick (tire deflation device) application was made just North of Soldotna, causing the vehicle to slow to speeds below 35MPH and a successful PIT maneuver was conducted on the vehicle on the Sterling Hwy. The driver and sole occupant was identified as Deven Davis and subsequently arrested for his outstanding warrants, as well as Fail to Stop I, Vehicle Theft I, Reckless Driving , DWLR, and Promoting Contraband I.

On 11/20/2025 at approximately 0936 hours, Troopers received a request for a welfare check from Adult Probation/Parole. Troopers and VPSOs responded and contacted Henry James Miller, 30, of Copper Center. During the contact it was determined that Miller was in violation of his Parole conditions. On 11/20/2025 AST attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle in Wasilla, near Hyer Road. The vehicle failed to yield, and a pursuit was initiated. AST successfully utilized Tire Deflation devices and the vehicle was stopped near Eklutna on the Glenn Highway. The driver, identified as Corey Williams, age 34, of Anchorage, had multiple warrants for his arrest. Corey was arrested on his warrants, and also on the additional charges of Assault 3 and Failure to Stop at the direction of a peace officer in the 1st degree.

On 11/18/2025 at approximately 2206 hours, Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks received a report of a domestic violence incident around 815 McGrath Road in Fairbanks. Subsequent investigation revealed that Amelia Paul, age 37, of Fairbanks, had assaulted her boyfriend. She was arrested and remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center on one count of assault in the fourth degree.

On November 20, 2025, at approximately 0233 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle. The driver, Brayden Glenn Foster, was found to be driving while under the influence and was subsequently arrested. Brayden was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center.

On 11/20/2025 Troopers received reports of a stranded individual along a remote stretch of the Salcha River. The 66 year old male was attempting to hike out to the highway after running low on supplies in his cabin. The male had been hiking for 2 days and had fallen through the ice the day prior. The male made emergency entry into a nearby unoccupied cabin to dry off and warm up. The next day the male continued to hike until he had cell service to contact Troopers. Troopers launched the A-Star helicopter based in Fairbanks and rescued the male. The male refused emergency medical treatment and was released to family members.
