On 2/21/26 at approximately 1530 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to the area of Welping Way and Old Kasilof Rd. in Kasilof for a report of a disturbance. Investigation revealed Tristan Tackett, age 20 of Kasilof, pointed a BB Gun at his girlfriend. The Girlfriend was unaware that it was a BB Gun and feared for her life that she would be shot. Tackett was arrested and remanded without bail at Wildwood pretrial on 2 charges of Assault in the 3rd degree (Domestic Violence).

Location: Kenny LakeType: VCOR, PROBATION VIOLATIONDispatch Text:
On 02/21/2026 at approximately 1612 hours Glennallen AST responded to a disturbance in Kenny Lake. Investigation revealed that Venessa Murphy, age 40 of Kenny Lake, had consumed alcohol in violation of conditions of release stemming from the original charges of DUI and Refusal to submit to a chemical test and that Abdullah Bates, age 44 of Kenny Lake, had consumed alcohol in violation of conditions of probation stemming from the original charges of Misconduct Involving weapons in the 3rd degree, Assault in the 4th degree, and DUI. Murphy was placed under arrest for VCOR and transported to Glennallen AST post where she was held on a $250 bail. Bates was placed under arrest for a Probation Violation and transported to Glennallen AST post where he was held until arraignment.

On February 21, 2026 at approximately 1725 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to the area of Seldon Road and Windy Bottom Road in Wasilla for a report of a vehicle stuck in the ditch. Investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle, Victor Gassaway, 56 years old of Wasilla, was driving under the influence of alcohol. On February 21, 2026, at approximately 0858 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a 911 hang-up in Wasilla. Investigation revealed that Terri Maders, aged 58 of Wasilla, became upset during an argument with her spouse and intentionally damaged her spouse’s property. Terri was arrested for Criminal Mischief in the Fifth Degree (AS 11.46.486(a)(2)) and transported to Mat-Su Pretrial.

On 02/21/2026 at approximately 0608 hours, the Alaska State Troopers contacted SHILOH MARINELLI, 22, of Palmer, after locating a vehicle in the ditch along the Old Glenn Highway. The investigation determined that Marinelli had been operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.
Marinelli was taken into custody and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial on charges of DUI and Refusal. He was later released on his own recognizance.

On 02/21/2026 at approximately 0448 hours, Troopers stopped a green SUV after observing it fail to maintain its lane. The driver, Quentin Oliver Bentzin, showed signs of impairment, failed field sobriety tests, and was arrested for DUI.

Troopers responded to a report of an assault after third-party callers received messages from the victim requesting help. Based on the investigation, Troopers determined David Torok was the primary aggressor, and he was arrested for Assault in the Fourth Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree and remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center without further incident.

On February 21, 2026, at approximately 1:31 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of a vehicle stuck in a snowbank near the intersection of Iniakuk Street and Farmers Loop Road in Fairbanks. The caller reported the truck had been traveling too fast for road conditions and nearly caused a collision before leaving the roadway. Troopers contacted the driver, identified as Daniel Morris (41) of Fairbanks, who showed signs of impairment and admitted to consuming alcohol. Morris was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test and was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center.
