    Dispatch Text:

    On March 18, 2026, at approximately 2358 hours, Alaska State Troopers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle on Wasilla-Fishhook Road and Bogard for a moving violation. The vehicle failed to stop and led AST on a pursuit on Wasilla-Fishhook Road, reaching speeds in excess of 105 miles per hour. The vehicle eventually came to a stop, and investigation revealed Malik McCormick, age 24 of Palmer, was the driver. Malik was arrested for failing to stop at the direction of a peace officer in the first degree and was transported to MSPT where he was held without bail.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 3/19/2026, at approximately 1207 hours, AST received a report of a disturbance at the Big Lake Three Bears. AST contacted Jace Fesler, age 42 of Big Lake. Investigation revealed that he violated a protective order and was trespassing. Jace was arrested and transported to Matsu Pretrial where he was remanded and held without bail.

    Dispatch Text:

    On February 19, 2026, following a thorough investigation, Alaska State Troopers arrested 35-year-old Marcus Barr of Brevig Mission for Sexual Assault in the First Degree and Incest. The investigation began October 28, 2025, when AST received a report of a rape that had occurred several months earlier at a fish camp near Brevig Mission. AST investigation ultimately determined that Marcus Barr sexually assaulted an adult female after she became incapacitated from alcohol. Barr was arrested and remanded to Anvil Mountain Correctional Center in Nome.

    Dispatch Text:

    On Thursday, March 19, 2026 at approximately 2:57AM AST was in the area of Parks Hwy and Goldhill Rd. While conducting routine traffic enforcement, the driver of a vehicle was identified as having four outstanding warrants out of Palmer. Dispatch confirmed the warrants and the driver was transported to Fairbanks Correctional Center for further detention.

    On Wednesday March 18, 2026 at 11:11PM AST conducted a traffic stop in area of 685 Fairbanks St. A check with dispatch revealed the subject to have an active warrant from Fairbanks. The warrant was confirmed through dispatch and the subject was taken into custody and transported to Fairbanks Correctional Center for further detention.

    On March 2, 2026, Alaska State Troopers in Tok received a report that repeated theft of paper supplies was occurring from a public building in Tok. Subsequent investigation resulted in the identification of a suspect and one count each of Theft 4 and Tampering with Evidence being forwarded to the District Attorney's Office for review.

    On March 19, 2026 the Alaska State Trooper Fairbanks Criminal Suppression Unit and Tok Patrol contacted Donny Pitka during a traffic stop at mile 1322 of the Alaska Highway.  Pitka had a felony arrest warrant for Assault III, Assault IV, and Reckless Endangerment.  Pitka was placed under arrest.  A subsequent search warrant on Pitka's duffle bag revealed he was in possession of two semi-automatic pistols, one of which was stolen.  Pitka was remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center on his warrant as well as two counts of misconduct involving a weapon III, for being a felon in possession of two concealable handguns.

    Dispatch Text:

    On March 18, 2026, Task Force Dawnbreaker—comprised of the Alaska Bureau of Investigation Technical Crime Unit, the Anchorage Police Department, and U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations—made contact with Jeremy Morris, 26, of Kenai, in connection with a child sexual abuse material (CSAM) investigation.

    The investigation revealed that Morris had downloaded and distributed CSAM across multiple online platforms. Morris was arrested without incident and charged with ten (10) counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material. He was remanded to Wildwood Correctional Center and is being held without bail.

    On March 18, 2026, Hamrick was sentenced in a Fairbanks court under a plea agreement.  Hamrick was sentenced to 4 years to serve with 2 suspended, and 15 years of SOR registration.

    On March 18, 2026, Nome SDEU arrested Alexandria Okpealuk, 40 YOA of Wales, for two counts of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance 2nd degree in relation to an ongoing investigation into narcotics trafficking in Nome. Okpealuk was remanded to Anvil Mountain Correctional Center where she is held without bail pending arraignment.
