On 3/23/26, Alaska State Troopers received a report that a prisoner being booked into Wildwood Pretrial Facility in Kenai was found to be in possession of a controlled substance during a search. Investigation revealed that Bowyn Allemand age 31 of Kasilof was found to be in possession of presumptive positive Methamphetamine. Troopers charged Allemand with Misconduct involving Controlled substance in the 5th degree, promoting contraband in the 1st degree and violating conditions of release.

On 03/24/2026 at approximately 2255 hours, the Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a black 2002 Mercedes-Benz C230 near Knik-Goose Bay Road and Eagle Eye Circle for speeding and swerving in its lane. The vehicle failed to stop, leading Troopers on a 20-mile pursuit with speeds reaching 125mph. The vehicle crashed at the end of Knik-Goose Bay Road near the Goose Bay airstrip and the driver fled on foot into the woods. Troopers located the driver, identified as Trinton Spohnholz, age 21 of Anchorage, hiding under a fallen tree and arrested him without further incident. On 3/25/2026, at 0120 hours Troopers conducted a traffic stop on college road an equipment violation. The driver was identified as Graham Judson, an investigation revealed signs of intoxication of alcohol. He was arrested and provided a breath sample of .120 BrAC. He was remanded to FCC.

On Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at approximately 10:27PM AST responded to a residence in reference to a domestic disturbance. On scene, it was determined nothing criminal or domestic related happened, however the subject had violated conditions by consuming alcohol. The subject was no longer on scene, but was found three doors down in a neighbor's house and subsequently arrested for violating conditions of release. Approximately two hours later AST received a call about a juvenile matching the runaway's description walking along Steese Hwy. On Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at approximately 1:00AM AST received a call from Fairbanks Memorial Hospital staff advising a female came in alleging domestic violence but wouldn't call police because she was concerned about an active warrant. On 03/24/2026, Fairbanks AST Dispatch received a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a male pedestrian. It was reported that a male had walked into the roadway and was struck by a motor vehicle. AST, Fire, and EMS personnel responded to the scene. The male was transported to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital for medical care. The driver of the vehicle was interviewed on scene and subsequently released.

On 03/24/2026 at approximately 01:54, Fairbanks AST Dispatch received a report of a domestic disturbance in the North Pole area. It was reported that two individuals were fighting. Investigation showed that Levi Trotman, 37 years old, assaulted the victim in the Fourth Degree. Levi was arrested and remanded to Fairbanks Correction Center.

Location: BethelType: Officer Involved Shooting InvestigationDispatch Text:
At the request of the Bethel Police Department, the Alaska Bureau of Investigation is investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred in Bethel on March 25, 2026, at approximately 4:05 am. A preliminary investigation indicates an adult male had been taken to the Bethel hospital earlier in the night after standing in the roadway and refusing to move onto the sidewalk. The man left the hospital before being seen and later returned to the roadway. Officers contacted the man a second time, at which point he produced a knife and refused multiple commands to drop it. The man then approached an officer while brandishing the knife, and the officer fired, striking him. The man was medevaced to an Anchorage-area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. No other injuries were reported to Troopers.
The Alaska Bureau of Investigation's Western Alaska Major Crimes Unit has assumed case responsibility. Once their investigation is complete, it will be independently reviewed by the Alaska Office of Special Prosecutions.
