    Dispatch Text:

    On 3/30/2026, Alaska State Troopers responded to an address in Happy Valley for a report of a disturbance. Subsequent investigation determined that Michelle Shepard (50 years old) had assaulted a family member. Michelle was arrested and remanded to Homer Jail on 1x count of Assault in the 4th degree.

    On 3/29/2026, Alaska State Troopers in Anchor Point received a report that an individual had violated his conditions of release. Subsequent investigation determined Robert Carroll, 53 years of age, had ran away from his 3rd party custodian. Charges have been filed against Robert for VCOR.

    Type: Runaway Juvenile/Vehicle Theft

    On 3/29/2026 at approximately 2030 hours, Alaska State Troopers in Soldotna received a report of a stolen vehicle, believed to be taken by a 13-year-old female who ran away from home during the preceding few hours. AST received numerous tips and updates from concerned friends and family attempting to assist in locating the juvenile and vehicle. At approximately 0030 hours on 3/30/2026, AST safely secured both the juvenile and vehicle in Anchor Point.

    On 03/29/2026 at approximately 2322 hours, an Alaska State Trooper (AST) observed a vehicle driving in the opposite lane, eastbound on the Sterling Hwy at approximately mile 91. The offending vehicle nearly collided head-on with the AST patrol vehicle as well as with another vehicle behind AST - both vehicles having to perform evasive maneuvers while the driver continued to drive in the wrong lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and George William Via was discovered to be driving under the influence (DUI). He was arrested for DUI and, later, an additional charge of Refusal to submit to a chemical test. He was remanded into Wildwood Pretrial.

    On 3/30/2026, at approximately 1353 hours, the Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on Leah Circle and Church Ridge in Wasilla. The driver was identified as Tayvin Christiansen, age 23 of Wasilla. Investigation revealed that Tayvin was driving with a revoked license. Tayvin was arrested for DWLR with prior conviction and VCOR x2. Tayvin was transported to Matsu Pretrial where he was remanded and held without bail.

    On 03/30/2026 at approximately 1130 hours, the Alaska State Troopers came into contact with Joseph Donahue, age 70 of Wasilla. Investigation revealed Donahue held an outstanding arrest warrant, original charge Assault in the 3rd degree. Donahue was placed under arrest and transported to MSPT. Bail was set at $500 cash appearance.

    On 03/29/2026, AST responded to an address in Fox for a welfare check. Upon arrival, the individual was found deceased in his home. No foul play is suspected and next of kin has not been notified.

    On 3/30/2026 AST received a report that Diana Ives was at a family member's residence unlawfully. An investigation revealed Diana entered and remained inside the residence after being told to leave. Diana was arrested for Criminal Trespass (DV).

    Advisory Text:

    On 3/29/2026, George Frese, who had two warrants for his arrest, was reported to be driving in the area of Miller Hill Road while intoxicated. Troopers arrived on scene and witnessed George running away from a red truck, jumping over a snow berm, and attempting to flee on foot. Officers apprehend George after a brief search and foot chase through the snow. George was charged with DUI and harassment after spitting on another trooper, and was then transported to Fairbanks Correctional Center.

    On 03/28/2026, Troopers responded to a residence in Fairbanks with reports of a domestic violence disturbance. Through investigation, it was revealed that Barbara Kiser of Fairbanks had assaulted her significant other. She was remanded to FCC with no further incident.
