On 04/18/2026 at approximately 0937 hours, Soldotna AST received a 911 call reporting an adult male to be unconscious and not breathing at his residence in Nikiski. All life-saving efforts were unsuccessful, and the male passed away. No suspicious circumstances present.

On 04/18/2026, at approximately 0951 hours, AST in Anchor Point received a report of a domestic disturbance near North Fork Road in Anchor Point. Upon further investigation, it was determined that 37-year-old Henri Mischler of Anchor Point, committed Terroristic Threatening 2nd Degree, Assault 4th Degree, Criminal Mischief 4th Degree, Criminal Mischief 5th Degree, and Interfering with a Report of a Crime Involving Domestic Violence against a family member. Henri was arrested and transported to Homer Jail without incident.

On April 7th, 2026, at about 1734 hours, Troopers stopped a vehicle near mile 163 of the Sterling Highway for speeding. An investigation showed the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was a 15-year-old male who only had an instructional permit. The male was given a summons for driving in violation of an instructional permit and cited for speeding. On 04/13/2026, the Alaska State Troopers received a 411 Tip that a resident in Hydaburg, Alaska, James Bell, was sexually exposing himself to the children of the residence. Troopers' investigation determined that James Bell committed two counts of the crime of indecent exposure in the first degree. James was arrested and transported to Craig Jail.

On 04/10/2026, at approximately 0748 hours, AST in Anchor Point received a report from a Ninilchik business owner who stated a former employee was following him and harassing him. An investigation showed Christopher Brown, 33 of Ninilchik, had been terminated from his employment the day before. Brown confronted the business owner at the business location which led to the call to Troopers. On April 10th 2026, at about 1850 hours, Troopers received a call reporting a trespassing issue at her residence in Happy Valley. The caller stated they had an alert from their camera system that a person was trespassing in their residence. On April 12th, 2026, at approximately 2320 hours, the Alaska State Troopers (AST) stopped a vehicle on Homestead Road for an equipment violation. The driver was identified as James Dixon, 55 of Anchor Point. A records check showed Dixon had a revoked license out of Tennessee and had conditions of release in an open court case for DWLR. Subsequent investigation resulted in James being placed under arrest for one count of DWLR and one count of VCOR. On April 19, 2026, at 11:58 am, the Alaska State Troopers received multiple 911 calls regarding a motor vehicle collision at the Parks Hwy/Glenn Hwy interchange. Multiple AST and EMS units responded to the scene. A 2021 Subaru Crosstrek, driven by 50-year-old Wasilla resident Jeni Erhardt, was hit on the driver’s side by a semi-truck pulling a side dump trailer. Erhardt was transported to a local area hospital where she was pronounced deceased. A dog in the vehicle was found to be uninjured and was turned over to Mat-Su Borough Animal Control. Next-of-kin notifications have been completed. Investigation is ongoing.

On 04/18/2026 at 2138 hours, AST responded to a REDDI report on N. Winding Brook Loop after a driver nearly struck another vehicle before entering a ditch. Troopers contacted Christopher Stanish, age 44 of Palmer, who was determined to be impaired following investigation. A records check showed Stanish had two prior DUI convictions within 10 years and was driving with a revoked license. He was arrested for felony DUI and later refused to provide a chemical test, resulting in an additional refusal charge. Stanish was remanded to MSPT pending arraignment.

On 04/19/2026, AST responded to an address in North Pole for a report of a disturbance. Upon investigation, it was determined that Brandyn Jensen committed the crime of criminal mischief in the fifth degree against another household member. Brandyn was later located, arrested, and remanded to FCC.
