On 04/03/24 at approximately 0151 hours, AST Soldotna received a 911 call reporting a physical disturbance at a residence in Kasilof. AST responded and the investigation determined, 25-year-old Kasilof resident, Quentin Smith assaulted another household member and intentionally damaged property. Smith was arrested and remanded at the Wildwood pretrial facility on the charges of DV Assault II, Assault IV (injury), Assault IV (fear), and Criminal Mischief V.

On 4/1/2024 at approximately Palmer/AST received a report of a stolen vehicle from an address in Wasilla, AK. On 4/3/2024 at approximately 1135 hours AST received word from the complainant that they had located their stolen vehicle at an address near Schrock and Infinite Rd. AST responded and located the vehicle. Subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of Aaron Dollison, Age 32 of Wasilla. Dollison was subsequently remanded to Palmer Pre-Trial for charges of Burglary 1st Degree, 2 counts of Theft in the 2nd Degree, Vehicle Theft 1st Degree, Misconduct Involving Controlled Substances 5th Degree. Dollison was held without Bail.

On 04/02/2024 at approximately 1856 hours, Alaska State Troopers recovered a stolen box truck on Forest Hills Drive in Houston. Investigation led to the arrest of Jeffrey Carlson, age 32 of Big Lake, for Theft II and Vehicle Theft I. Carlson was remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.

On 04/02/2024 at approximately 1850 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence on Keltons Cir in Wasilla for a death investigation. Investigation revealed a 57-year-old Wasilla man was deceased. No foul play is suspected and next of kin was notified.

On 4/2/24, at 1500 hours, Troopers & VPSO from the rural unit contacted Jessica Roberts, age 33 of Circle. Roberts had an arrest warrant issued by the Fairbanks Court. Roberts was arrested without incident and transported to FCC where she was remanded.

On April 3, 2024, at approximately 1740 hours a VPSO on patrol in the village of Tanacross observed Lakota Northway, age 30 of Tanacross, who was known to have active warrants for his arrest in 4TO-22-00010CR and 4FA-22-01013CR. Northway was contacted and placed under arrest for his warrants. Investigation resulted in additional charges of Violating Conditions of Release and Unlawful Contact in the First Degree. Northway was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center, where he was held pending arraignment.

On 4/3/2024, Alaska Wildlife Troopers concluded a residency investigation on Greg Van Noy, age 62, of Bozeman, Montana. Investigation revealed, from 2019 to 2023, Greg made multiple false statements when applying for resident hunting and/or fishing licenses in Alaska while concurrently holding a resident hunting/fishing license in Montana. Greg was issued three citations totaling $920.
