    On 5/24/2025, at approximately 1357 hours, Seward AST conducted a traffic stop for speed near mile 10 Seward Highway. Investigation revealed that the driver, Nolan Atti, age 23 of Anchorage, was knowingly operating a vehicle while his privilege to operate a motor vehicle was revoked, and failed to carry motor vehicle insurance on his vehicle. Nolan was issued citation for speed, and summons to appear at a later date for the offenses of DWLR and No Motor Vehicle Insurance.

    On 05/24/2025 at approximately 1640 hours, Alaska State Troopers contacted David Waite, 45, of Wasilla, near Big Lake. Following the investigation, Waite was arrested for vehicle theft in the first degree and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial without incident.

    On May 24, 2025, at approximately 1400 hours, AST received a report of a man asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle on Palmer Fishhook Road, which was blocking traffic. AST responded to the scene, and the investigation revealed that 29-year-old Marshal Comer had been operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Marshal was transported to Mat-Su Pretrial, where he was remanded on charges of driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

    On 5.24.25 at approximately 0700 hours, Alaska State Troopers in Palmer responded to a residence on Bull Moose Drive for a report of a male who had been shot. AST arrived and observed a male with gunshot wounds to the left arm and left leg, who was bleeding heavily. AST applied tourniquets to the male and effectively controlled the bleeding until EMS transported him to Mat Su Regional for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Further investigation revealed the male was driving a side-by-side vehicle through the neighborhood, upsetting Mark Dudek, age 60 of Wasilla. The male drove the vehicle up Mark’s driveway, prompting Mark to aggressively follow the male in his vehicle. Mark exited his vehicle and confronted the male, who was still in the side-by-side. The male drove towards Mark, Mark produced a firearm and shot the male. Ultimately, Mark was arrested for Assault 1 and Misconduct Involving a Weapon IV. Mark was transported to Mat Su Pretrial for remand, where he was held without bail. AST would like to thank WPD for their assistance with this investigation.

    On May 23, 2025 at approximately 1826 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a 911 call from a woman stating her ex-boyfriend was trying to run her over with his pickup truck in vicinity of Fairview Loop and Abby Boulevard. Investigation revealed that Thomas Kammer, 54 years old of Wasilla, had committed the crime of Third Degree Assault (Domestic Violence) and was remanded to Mat Su Pre Trial where he was held without bail.

    On 05/24/2025 at 0131 hours Troopers responded to a call regarding individuals doing narcotics in the bathroom at the Circle K gas station on Peger Road. A Trooper contacted an adult female, and ultimately methamphetamine was seized from her. Charges will be pending results from the state crime lab.

    On 05/22/2025 at approximately 0712 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a request for medical assistance in the Mentasta village. AST further learned there was an allegation of a physical fight between siblings. Investigation revealed Derrick J. Neal, age 39, assaulted his brother. Further investigation revealed a Violation of Conditions of Release on Neal’s brother as well as Violation of Custodian Duties on Neal’s brother’s third-party custodian. Neal was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center and held without bail. The other two charges were submitted to the District Attorney’s Office.

    On 05/24/2025 at approximately 0938 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of an active disturbance in the village of Tetlin. Investigation revealed Allen W. Agnes Jr., age 22, assaulted a significant other. Further, Agnes Jr. currently has two open court cases (4FA-24-02467CR and 4FA-24-02512CR) which have conditions of release imposed on him. Agnes Jr. was charged with one count of Assault IV DV, one count of Unlawful Contact I, and two counts of Violation of Conditions of Release. Agnes Jr. was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center and held without bail.

    Type: False Report / Tampering With Evidence

    On May 20, 2025, at 5:13 pm, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a sexual assault in a residential area near Wasilla. The Alaska Bureau of Investigation assumed case responsibility and began a thorough investigation into the allegations. 19-year-old Wasilla resident Anna Collet called Troopers to report that a male had forcibly sexually assaulted her and assaulted her. After multiple Troopers spent a combined 100 hours investigating her allegations, Investigators determined that her report was fabricated for unknown reasons and that Collet had deleted evidence from her cell phone which would have aided the investigation. On May 22nd, Collet was arrested on one count of Tampering with Physical Evidence and one count of False Information or Report. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial without incident.
