    Location: Voznesenka
    Type: Felony DUI, DWLR, VCOR

    Dispatch Text:

    On 5/17/23 at 1531 hours, Troopers received a report of an ATV crash on East End Road near Canyon View Drive in Voznesenka. Troopers, State Park Rangers, and Fire/EMS responded and found Severean Reutov, 42 of Voznesenka, had been driving his ATV on the road when he went off the road into the ditch. The ATV rolled onto Reutov who received serious injuries and he was transported to South Peninsula Hospital for treatment. The crash investigation showed Reutov was driving the ATV under the influence of alcohol, was driving with a revoked driver's license, and was in violation of his release conditions from prior criminal cases. Due to his injuries, Reutov was later given summons to appear in court for felony DUI, DWLR, and VCOR.

    On June 1, 2023 at approximately 0858 hours, a vehicle pulled up to the AST Mat-Su West post. A female exited the vehicle, retrieved a baseball bat, and threw it at the front of the building. The bat missed the front window, but collided into the top siding above the window; causing damage to the building. The female then got back into the vehicle, and drove away. Investigation identified the female as Krystie Stevenson, age 31 of Wasilla. AST located Krystie at a separate location, and issued her a criminal summons for one count of Criminal Mischief IV. video evidence of the incident was obtained.

    Type: Motor Vehicle Collision, Leaving Scene of the Accident

    On 6/1/2023, at approximately 1647 hours, AST responded to the Old Glenn / Plumley Rd for a two vehicle collision. Both vehicles received significant disabling damage.     On 06/01/23, Court Services Officers assigned to Palmer Judicial Services arrested Andrey Zhuchkov, age 21 from Wasilla. Zhuchkov had an active warrant for Minor Operating After Consuming Alcohol. Zhuchkov was remanded to Mat Su Pretrial.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 05/31/2023 at approximately 2144 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a road rage incident on Knik Goose Bay Road near Settlers Bay Road in Wasilla that occurred for several miles. AST contacted Brandon Michael Barrett, age 35 of Wasilla. Investigation revealed Barrett recklessly placed four victims riding in one vehicle separate from Barrett, two of whom were juveniles, in fear of imminent serious injury by means of a dangerous instrument. Barrett was also discovered to have been DUI during the course of the incident, driving on a canceled license, and refused to submit to chemical testing. Barrett was arrested and transported to Mat-Su Pre-Trial where he was remanded on 3 charges of Assault in the 3rd degree, DUI, DUI Refusal, and Driving on a canceled license and held on no bail.

    On 6/1/23 at around 0500 hours Matcom took a 911 call reporting a disturbance at a residence near Beaver Lake Rd. AST responded and determined Sierra Brown, 20 yoa of Big Lake assaulted two people at the residence and caused approximately $400.00 in property damage. Brown was arrested for Assault in the third degree, two counts of Assault in the fourth degree and Criminal Mischief in the fourth degree. She was later transported to Mat-Su Pretrial.

    On 06/01/2023 at approximately 0827 hours, Troopers responded to the area of Water Thrush Rd, in Fairbanks, for a report of a burglary and theft of a  Polaris 6x6 vehicle, green in color. This case is still under investigation.

    On 6/1/2023, Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks received a report of a individual that needed to be removed from an AirBnB in North Pole. Responding Troopers located a female in the residence with minor injuries as well as damage to the residence. Investigation determined Jakob Pulsifer, (29) of North Pole had committed the offense of Assault 4 (domestic violence) and Criminal Mischief 5. Jakob was no longer on scene. A 12 Hour Probable Cause arrest has been added and charges will be forwarded to the Distract Attorney.

    On 06/01/2023, Alaska State Troopers responded to a theft.  Investigation revealed an unknown person removed a pistol from the glove compartment of a vehicle.  The pistol was placed into stolen status and a report was completed.

    The Alaska State Troopers strongly urge citizens to lock their vehicle doors, remove valuables, and secure vehicle keys, in an effort to prevent being victimized by opportunistic thieves.

AK Wildlife Troopers

    UPDATE: On June 8, 2023, at 11:00 am, divers from the Sitka Fire Department recovered the deceased body of Morgan Robidou from the Low Island area after he was spotted by salvage crews working to recover the outboard motors from the vessel. Robidou’s body will be sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy. Next of kin has been notified. The US Coast Guard's investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing. Robert Solis remains missing. 

    UPDATE: June 5, 2023. The sunken charter vessel has been successfully salvaged and returned to Sitka. The USCG investigation as to the circumstances surrounding the sinking of the vessel is ongoing. Robert Solis and Morgan Robidou remain missing. Search efforts are based on a limited, reactive search. If new clues or information are reported to law enforcement, search efforts will be evaluated at that time.

    UPDATE: On May 31, 2023, at approximately 5:00 pm, two female bodies were recovered from the sunken vessel, they are believed to be Danielle Agcaoili and Brandi Tyau. The bodies are being transported to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Anchorage for examination and positive identification. Robert Solis and Morgan Robidou remain missing from this incident. Vessel recovery efforts are continuing.

    On May 28, 2023, at 10:22 pm, Alaska State Troopers were notified of a 30-foot charter vessel with five people on board that had capsized in the area of Low Island in Sitka Sound. One person was located unresponsive in the water near the vessel by the U.S. Coast Guard and transported to the Hospital in Sitka where they were pronounced deceased. Four other people are still missing.

    The Person that was located and confirmed deceased is identified as:

    Maury Agcaoili, 57-year-old male of Waipahu, Hawaii. (Charter passenger)

    The four persons that are still missing are identified as:

    Danielle Agcaoili, 53-year-old female of Waipahu, Hawaii. (Charter passenger)

    Robert Solis, 61-year-old male of Canoga Park, California. (Charter passenger)

    Brandi Tyau, 56-year-old female of Canoga Park, California. (Charter passenger)

    Morgan Robidou 32-year-old male of Sitka, Alaska. (Boat Operator/Captain)

    Efforts to recover the partially submerged vessel are ongoing. Conditions on scene have been rough seas and strong wind. Agencies involved include the U.S. Coast Guard, Sitka Fire Department Dive Team, Sitka Search and Rescue, NOAA Office of Law Enforcement, and Alaska State Troopers. Hanson Maritime is assisting with coordination and vessel recovery efforts.
