On 09/28/2025 Alaska State Troopers contacted Mark Siefert, age 72, of Wasilla, at a residence of Knik Goose Bay Road following a hit-and-run collision. Investigation revealed Siefert was intoxicated by alcohol and had left the scene of an earlier property-damage collision. Siefert was arrested for DUI and leaving the scene of a crash. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial.

On 09/28/2025 at approximately 0059 hours, AST received a 911 open line and could hear a female in the background that sounded like she was telling a male to leave. The male was heard yelling, saying that he had been attacked.
AST arrived on the scene and investigation revealed that after a verbal altercation Ariel Stermer age 34 of Wasilla, pulled household member down ripping his grunt style T-Shirt, and scratching the back of his neck.
Ariel was arrested and charged with Assault 4, Criminal Mischief 5, and Assault in the Presence of a Child. Ariel was transported to Matsu-Pretrial where she is being held without bail pending arraignment.

On 9/27/25 at approximately 2350 hours, AST received a call from a male stating he was bitten and hit by Katarzyna Clancy, 36, of Big Lake, around Klutina Drive. He also stated that she had taken his car and put it in the ditch and was highly intoxicated. Investigation found that Katarzyna was DUI and had assaulted the male. She was remanded to Mat-Su Pre-Trial on the charges DUI, Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test, and DV Assault 4.

On 09/28/2025 at 1213 hours a Trooper conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle due to the license plate not matching the description of the vehicle and an equipment violation. Edward Winishut was the driver and revoked. He had multiple prior DWLR convictions within the last ten years. Charges are being forwarded for driving while revoked.

On 09/28/2025 at 1248 hours, the Alaska State Troopers were notified of a burglary and theft in progress at a residence in Palmer. The investigation revealed that James Davis, a 31-year-old from Sitka, had entered the home to perform interior painting for his employer. While inside, Davis was observed taking items valued at over $750 and refused to leave when directed by the owner. Davis was arrested and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial on charges of Burglary in the First Degree and Theft in the Second Degree.

On 09/28/2025 at approximately 1732 hours, AST patrol conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Seldon Road and Church Road. Investigation revealed Sean Hooper, age 20 of Anchorage, was driving on a revoked license while on conditions of release for felony charges. Hopper bail was set at $1,000.

On 09/28/2025 at 1803 hours Troopers were dispatched to a REDDI report. Troopers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. An investigation was conducted, and ultimately Anthony Maxim was arrested for DUI.

On 09/28/2025 at approximately 1800 hours, AST received a 911 call stating that Steven Sampson (19 years old) Male, was violating his conditions of release.
AST responded to the residence in Meadow Lakes. Investigation revealed Steven had violated his conditions of release and had unlawful contact with the alleged victim he was instructed not to contact.

On September 28, 2025, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of gunfire and a disturbance at a residence on Oh Boy Lane in Fairbanks. Troopers contacted Michael Wilson, who was found to be impaired and in possession of two unsecured firearms inside his vehicle. Wilson was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence and two counts of Misconduct Involving Weapons in the Fourth Degree.

On September 28, 2025, Alaska State Troopers received a REDDI report regarding an intoxicated male. Troopers located the vehicle nearby and identified the driver as Ricky Esmailka, who showed signs of impairment and had multiple open containers of alcohol in his vehicle. Esmailka provided a breath sample showing a BrAC of .163 and was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. A records check revealed his license was revoked, and he was transported to FCC for booking.
