On 08/01/2025 at approximately 1543 hours Soldotna emergency dispatch received several 911 emergency calls reporting that a white female with blonde hair stole a 1996 Red Nissan pickup truck from a residence on Island Lake Road in Nikiski. Troopers responded to the area and recovered the stolen vehicle with a female slumped over in the driver's seat. The female suspect was identified as 43 year old Nikiski resident Kentoria Wise. Wise was arrested and transported to Wildwood Pretrial facility on the charges of DUI, Vehicle Theft in the First Degree, Theft in the 2nd degree, Criminal Trespass in the 2nd degree, Refusal, and Assault in the 4th degree on a law enforcement officer (physical injury).

On 8/2/2025 at approximately 1309 hours, received a 911 call reporting his girlfriend cut him on the back with a knife at S Benteh Pl. AST responded to the call and upon investigation the girlfriend cut him on the back with a kitchen knife causing a 26 cm laceration on his back that required 28 staples. She was arrested for Assault 2 domestic violence and transported to MSPT without incident.

On 8/2/25 at approximately 1414 hours Palmer AST performed a routine traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation in the Williwaw Subdivision neighborhood. Investigation revealed the driver, David O'Neill, age 29 of Wasilla, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest based on an original charge of Burglary 1st Degree. O'Neill was arrested and remanded at Mat Su Pretrial for his warrant and held on $1500 bail.

On 08/01/2025 at approximately 23:51 hours AST Dispatch received a report of a disturbance in Talkeetna. AST responded and an investigation revealed that Jeremiah Witt, aged 31 of Wasilla, had assaulted a household member. Jeremiah was arrested and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial for Assault 4 and held without bail.

On 08/02/2025 at approximately 0800 hours AST received a report of a theft in progress at a lot in Houston AK. The owner of the property had responded and caught 2 individuals attempting to start a vehicle on the property. AST arrived and identified James Eychaner, age 34, of Wasilla, and Geannette Skiles, age 36, of Wasilla, on the property. After investigation, it was determined they had parked on a side road, walked through the woods, and broken into multiple campers and Conex's, and attempted to start a vehicle on the property, as well as gathered thousands of dollars of items in a wheelbarrow near the woods of the property.
Additional AST units made contact with the suspects vehicle. A third male, identified as Seth Rogers, age 35, of Wasilla, was asleep in the back seat. Upon AST contact, Seth exited the vehicle. While exiting, a user amount of suspected Heroin and Methamphetamine in a small bindle fell out of his lap onto the ground in front of AST.
During a search of Ms. Skiles during her arrest, a suspected Methamphetamine pipe was found, with a user amount of suspected Methamphetamine still inside of the pipe.
James Eychaner was arrested for Theft 2, Attempted Vehicle Theft 1, and Criminal Trespass 1, and transported to MSPT where he was remanded and held without bail.
Geanette Skiles was arrested for Theft 2, Attempted Vehicle Theft 1, and Criminal Trespass 1, and Misconduct involving a controlled Substance in the 5th degree and transported to MSPT where she was remanded and held without bail.
Seth Rogers was arrested for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree and transported to MSPT where he was held on an OR Bond.

On 08/02/2025 at approximately 0215 hours, Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks conducted a traffic stop on Geist Road in Fairbanks. Investigation revealed Doroty Garcia, 42YOA, was driving while her AK driver's license was revoked. Garcia was issued a summons and released.

On 08/02/2025 at 0450 hours a Trooper recognized Heidi Self in the Safeway parking lot off College Road. Self was arrested for her misdemeanor and felony warrant. During this time, an individual entered the parking lot and was screaming uncontrollably. Ultimately, the individual was placed under arrest and kicked the Trooper. The individual was charged with disorderly conduct and Assault 4. The individual was booked at FCC as John Doe until the individual identifies themself.

On June 22, 2025, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of vandalism at a residence on Sunflower Loop in Fairbanks, where juveniles had trespassed, spray-painted inside an old DC-6 aircraft, and removed “No Trespassing” signs. The property owner and neighbors reported repeated incidents of trespassing and minor vandalism, with one neighbor providing video footage of the suspects. Case is currently under investigation.

On 08/02/20205 at approximately 1202 hours, AST responded to a report of an intoxicated and disorderly employee at a local Healy business. The individual was also reported to be in physical disturbance with another employee. Investigation showed Shaun Tyson, 25 of Valdez, was intoxicated and causing a hazardous condition for other employees. Shaun was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and transported to Fairbanks Correctional Center where he would be released on his own recognizance.

On 08/01/2025, Alaska Wildlife Troopers in Palmer contacted Nickolas John, age 67 of Trapper Creek, after receiving a report of dip net fishing at Sheep Creek. Investigation revealed Nickolas was sport fishing without a sport fish license in possession. Nickolas was cited for sport fishing without a sport fish license in possession.
