    On 09/13/2025 at approximately 0014 hours, AST received a report from Sharley Novak that she was driving on Knik Goose Bay Road with a romantic partner. The investigation revealed that while driving Sharley assaulted her romantic partner. Sharley was arrested without incident, transported and remanded to Matsu Pretrial for DV Assault 4, AS11.41.230(a)(1).

    On 9/13/2025 AST responded to the area of Wasilla for a report of a male, Richard Morgan, screaming outside his house, On arrival Troopers located a female with injuries to her face on the porch. Investigation revealed Richard had assaulted her. Richard was placed under arrest for Domestic Violence Assault in the 4th Degree and Violation of Conditions of Release. He was remanded to the Mat-Su Pre-Trial facility and held on no bail.

    On 9/13/2025 at approximately 0640 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a vehicle hitting a moose near mile 65 of the Richardson Highway. The vehicle had minor damage, and no injuries were reported. The moose was deceased and given to a charity.

    On 9/13/2025 at approximately 1451 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of two juveniles on dirt bikes colliding into each other on Larkspur Loop Road. Both juveniles sustained injuries, and one was transported to the hospital.

    Type: DV Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, VCOR, Probation Violation

    On 09/13/2025 at approximately 1420 hours Glennallen VPSO's and AST responded to a disturbance in the village of Gulkana.  Investigation revealed that Amber Alexander, age 41 of Gulkana, caused approximately $500 of damage to the property of a family member.  Additionally, Alexander was found to be intoxicated in violation of conditions of her probation and conditions of release stemming from the original charge of DV Assault in the 3rd degree.  Alexander was placed under arrest for the Probation Violation and charged with DV Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree, and VCOR.  Alexander was transported to Glennallen AST Post to be held until arraignment.

    On 09/12/2025 at about 1532 hours, Palmer AST conducted a traffic stop on W Horizon Road in Wasilla. One of the passengers was identified as Casey Zander, 47 YOA of Wasilla. The investigation revealed that Zander was in possession of methamphetamine, heroin, and oxycodone. Palmer AST released Zander from the scene and will be referring three counts of misconduct involving controlled substances in the 5th degree to the District Attorney's Office.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 13 September 2025, AST recieved a call of possible trespassing/shoplifting at the Speedway gas station on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway. Upon making contact with the suspect, Sergy Serov, AST discovered a large bottle of alcohol, along with 7.65 grams of Methamphetamine on his person. Sergy was arrested for Misconduct in controlled substances, shoplifting, and violation of conditions of release, and remanded to Mat-Su pre-trial.

    On 9/12/2026, Troopers responded to a death investigation on Birch Lane, Fairbanks. Kinlee Hawkins was found unresponsive in her living room, despite lifesaving efforts by EMS she was pronounced deceased. Investigation is still on going at this time no foul play is suspected.

    On 9/12/2025, Sahmear Carr crashed his Dodge Charger on Laurence Road while traveling approximately 80 MPH in a 45 MPH zone. Evidence showed the vehicle launched 15–20 feet before landing, continued through 150 feet of grass, and struck several trees, causing major disabling damage. A check revealed that he was on conditions for an open case, He was arrested and remanded to FCC.

    On 09/12/25 at approximately 2336 hrs, a traffic stop was conducted on a grey Ford after failing to stop after leaving the Club Soda Bar, prior to entering the Van Horn roadway. After the investigation, Parker Rhoades was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and refusal to submit to chemical testing. He was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Facility and released on his own recognizance.

    Location: Palmer
    Type: Take Moose Closed Season/ Unlawful Possession and Transport/ Fail to Salvage Moose Meat

    Dispatch Text:

    On 09/11/2025 at approximately 1003 hours, James Wallace, age 39 of Soldotna, was stopped on a traffic stop for a moving violation by Alaska State Troopers near mile 56 of the Glenn Hwy.  Alaska Wildlife Troopers responded after the patrol trooper discovered antlers in the vehicle that were not of legal size for the area. Investigation revealed Wallace harvested an illegal bull moose and was transporting it out of the field along the highway.  In addition, it was discovered Wallace didn't completely salvage all of the required meat.  Wallace was charged with three misdemeanors for Take Moose Closed Season due to there being no open season for the size of the moose harvested, Unlawful Possession and Transport of Big Game Meat, and Failure to Salvage Big Game Meat. He was issued a mandatory court date in October in the Palmer Court to appear on the charges.
