On 1/19/26 at 0630 hours, Troopers responded to a 911 call of a disturbance at a residence on Valleyside Ave in Anchor Point. An investigation showed Jannelly Nevarez, 24 of Anchorage, was intoxicated and had assaulted her boyfriend during an argument and damaged his vehicle. Nevarez was arrested and remanded into the Homer Jail on charges of Assault 3rd, Assault 4th, and Criminal Mischief 3rd. She was held pending arraignment.Posted on 1/19/2026 4:49:17 PM by DPS\djcox

On 1/19/26 at approximately 1030 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a disturbance at a residence on Palmdale Drive in Wasilla. Investigation revealed that Brandon Scott, age 24 of Wasilla, had assaulted a family member and damaged the family member's property. Scott was arrested for Assault IV (DV) and Criminal Mischief V (DV). Scott was remanded to MSPT, where he was held without bail.

On 1/19/26 at approximately 2332 hours, AST responded to a traffic stop initiated by WPD in Wasilla. Investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle, Asher Wohlers, age 18 of Wasilla, had driven the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Asher was arrested and remanded to MSPT for DUI and MOCA.

On 01/18/2026 at approximately 1939 hours, the Alaska State Troopers were notified of a conditions of release violation. Investigation revealed Ian Collins age 36 of Wasilla violated his conditions of release involving a domestic violence crime. On 01/18/2026 at approximately 2305 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence in Wasilla reference multiple subjects discharging firearms at each other. Investigation revealed Matthew Bernier age 20 of Wasilla discharged a firearm towards another individual. Matthew was arrested for MIW 1 and Assault 3 and remanded at MSPT with no bail. On 01/18/2026 at approximately 2013 hours, Alaska State Troopers received several REDDI reports for a blue sedan driving erratically in Wasilla. The investigation revealed the driver, Adriana Guerrero, aged 30 of Wasilla, was operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Guerrero was arrested and transported to Matsu Pretrial where she was remanded for DUI and released on her own recognizance.

On 1/19/26 at approximately 0800 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a Honda SUV on the Glenn Highway in Palmer. Investigation revealed the driver, Cody Glenn, age 28, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest on the original charges of Criminal Mischief III and Assault in the Presence of a Child. Further investigation revealed that a passenger, Anthony Huckstep, age 20, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest on the original charge of DWRL. Both were arrested for their warrants and transported to MSPT for remand.
