On 1/3/2025, at approximately 2130 hours, AST Soldotna Patrol responded to a residence in Nikiski in attempt to contacted Shelleen Leritz, age 33 of Nikiski, for several outstanding warrants. Ultimately Shelleen was arrested on her outstanding warrants on the original charges of Burglary 1, Theft 2, Vehicle Theft 1 x2, Forgery 2 x4, Failure to Appear for Arraignment x2, and Petition to Revoke Probation. Shelleen was remanded to Wildwood Pre-Trial Facility on $5,050.00 bail.

Location: PalmerType: Criminal Mischief (DV)Dispatch Text:
On January 5th, 2024, at approximately 1846 hours, AST was alerted to a disturbance in Palmer. Troopers responded and discovered Travis Jones (37) of Palmer in violation of his conditions of release and having broken a window in the family home. Travis was arrested and transported to Mat-Su Pretrial, where he was remanded on charges of violating his conditions of release and fifth-degree criminal mischief.

On January 4th, 2025, at approximately 1847 hours, AST received a tip that Charles Stokes (61) of Wasilla was out of compliance with the Sex Offender Registry. Troopers responded and contacted Charles. Charles was placed under arrest and transported to Mat-Su Pretrial. He was remanded for one count of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender or Kidnapper in the first degree due to a prior conviction.

On 1.4.25 at approximately 1200 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence on Susitna Dr in Talkeetna and contacted Sierra Ballger, age 33 of Talkeetna. An investigation revealed Ballger had an outstanding warrant for her arrest on the original charge of MICS V x 2. Ballger was arrested for her warrant and transported to MSPT for remand.

On 01/03/25 at approximately 1900 hours, AST received information that William Sanderlin, age 42 of Wasilla, was at an address near Fairview Loop and W Clydesdale Dr and currently had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for violating conditions of a domestic violence protective order. AST located William at the residence and arrested him on the outstanding warrant. William was transported to Mat-Su PreTrial where he was remanded and held on $250 bail.

On 01/04/2025, at approximately 0127, AST responded to a disturbance near Palmer. Upon arrival AST contacted Rosalie Warren age 21. After investigation revealed Rosalie assaulted a family member and was arrested for Assault in the fourth degree. She was arrested and remanded at MSPT.

On 1.3.25 at approximately 1700 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a red Dodge truck in the ditch on Willow Fishhook Road and contacted Dan Bolinder, age 39, of Willow. An investigation revealed that Bolinder was operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Bolinder was arrested for DUI and transported to MSPT for remand.

On 01/04/2025 at approximately 0140 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a call of a vehicle in the ditch on the Richardson Hwy. Taryn Wells 22, the driver of the vehicle was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center.

On January 4, 2025, at approximately 0256 hours, the Alaska State troopers received a notification that EMS was responding to a medical check and found an unconscious female. Shortly after arrival, EMS pronounced Norma Heaston deceased. No foul play is suspected at this time. The next of kin was notified.

On 1/4/2025, at approximately 1513 hours, AST received a call of a disturbance occurring in the area of Moose Creek. A verbal argument was reported, and possible physical altercation was alleged. Troopers arrived on scene, and it was determined that an assault had occurred between the suspect, Jasmine, and her boyfriend. Jasmine was placed under arrest for assault 4 and remanded to FCC.

Location: WillowType: SARDispatch Text:
On 01/03/2025 at approximately 1852 hours, AWT received the report of two adults and four children between the ages of four and twelve, lost and in need of rescue near Lynx Lake. The family planned to ski to a public use cabin that was approximately four miles east of the Parks Highway near Nancy Lake in Willow however, were unable to locate the cabin before dark and became lost. The family split up into two groups and at one point abandoned their camping gear because the sled they were pulling broke. The were without flashlights and temperatures in the area were sub- zero. Wildlife Troopers responded to the area and were able to locate both sets of the family in two separate locations. All parties made it out of the field and no injuries were reported.
