On 2/8/24 at approximately 1745 hours, AST received a report of a domestic violence protective order violation.
Trooper responded and a subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Nathaniel Hutchinson a 22-year-old man from Wasilla. Nathaniel was charged with one count of violating a domestic violence protective order, and one count of violating conditions of release. He was transported to Mat-Su Pre-Trial where he was remanded and held without bail.

On 2/7/2024 at approximately 2307 hours, AST conducted a traffic stop in the Big Lake area. During the stop, AST contacted and identified one of the occupants as Ron Debeauliaeu, age 20, of Wasilla. Investigation revealed Debeailieau had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for $250 for failing to appear in court with the original charge of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance. Debeailieau was arrested, transported, remanded at Matsu Pretrial, and held for $250 bail.

AST responded to a disturbance in the Soapstone area and contacted Deven Werts (age 24 of Palmer). Investigation revealed that Werts assaulted a neighbor by throwing a snow shovel at them and striking them. There were no reported injuries. Werts was taken into custody and transported to the Palmer Pretrial Facility without incident. Werts was charged with one count of Assault in the Fourth Degree. Werts is being held at the Palmer Pretrial Facility on $500.00 bail pending arraignment.

On 2/8/2024, Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks responded to a residence off Chena Hot Springs Road for a report of a disturbance. Investigation determined Christopher Henry, 30 years old, had assaulted his girlfriend. A 12 hour arrest has been entered for Christopher and charges will be forwarded to the district attorney for Assault in the 4th degree.

On 02/08/2024 at approximately 0827 hours, the Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks were conducting a welfare check on an individual who was slumped over in the driver seat of a vehicle while sitting at a gas pump. The individual was identified as Dakota Sheppard (27) of Fairbanks. Investigation revealed that Dakota had been operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance. Dakota was taken into custody without incident and remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center.

On 2/7/24, at 2220 hours, FEC dispatch center received a telephone request to dispatch an ambulance to a residence in Nenana The caller became hostile towards the dispatcher and the request was declined.
At 2245 hours, Nenana VPSO was dispatch to the residence to conduct a welfare check. Investigation determine the subject wanted a ride to FMH to seek treatment. Subject was transported to FMH without incident by the VPSO

On 2-8-24 Delta Junction AST received a report of a deceased individual off Nistler Dr. AST responded and investigation showed the death to appear to be of natural causes. The SME released the body to a funeral home. A funeral home was contacted and took custody of the body.

On 2/8/24, Alaska Wildlife Troopers contacted Timothy Robinson, age 64, of Sitka, during a commercial salmon offload to a local processing facility. Investigation revealed, Robinson had landed one undersize king salmon and had concealed two additional unreported king salmon aboard his vessel. Robinson was cited for retaining undersize salmon and failing to report on a fish ticket. An arraignment is set in the district court at Sitka.
