On May 1, 2026, at 12:42 pm, Alaska State Troopers were assisting with multiple vehicle collisions near mile 70 of the Seward Highway due to ongoing blizzard conditions. While working, another driver lost control and struck a Trooper's patrol car while the trooper was inside the vehicle. No one was injured as a result of the collision. No citations were issued.

On 4/29/26 at approximately 1331 hours, Anchor Point AST took the report of a trespassing incident actively occurring near Anchor Ct. in Anchor Point. AST arrived on scene and contacted Kyle Ray Hock (37 YOA) of Anchor Point. Subsequent investigation and interviews showed that Hock drove to the property from his residence nearby. Hock’s driver’s license is revoked for driving while revoked from 3/9/21-6/7/21 and he has multiple prior convictions for DWLR, most recently on 8/21/24. Hock is on conditions of release for 3KN-25-00399CR and they state he is to obey all federal, state and local laws and not drive without a valid license. Hock was issued a summons for Driving while License Revoked and Violating his conditions of release with a court date set for later.

On 5/1/2026 at approximately 2056 hours, Soldotna AST received a report of a domestic disturbance in the area of Poppyridge Road in Soldotna. AST responded and investigation revealed Cornell Constantine (age 60, of Soldotna) had physically assaulted two household members. Constantine was arrested and remanded to Wildwood Pretrial Facility on two counts of DV Assault IV. Alcohol was a contributing factor.

On May 2, 2026, at approximately 0021 hours, the Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on Ryan Jacob Green Bolich, 27, of Pennsylvania, in the area of the Parks Highway and Boundary Street in Wasilla. The investigation determined that Green Bolich was impaired, and he was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. He was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility, where he was remanded and later released on his own recognizance.

On 05-02-26 at approximately 1136 hours, AST received a report of a DVPO violation. Investigation revealed that Joshua Grisham (42 YOA Male) had violated an active protective order in which he is the respondent, he was arrested and transported to MSPT where he was remanded in accordance with AS 11.56.740(a)(1).

On 5/2/26 at approximately 1909 hours, AST received a report of a motor vehicle collision on Seldon Rd near Sarah’s Wy in Wasilla. It was reported that a red Subaru had crashed into a tree after driving erratically, almost striking three vehicles before crashing. Investigation revealed that the driver of the Subaru, Seth Bellamy age 44 of Wasilla, had driven while under the influence of alcohol. Seth was arrested and remanded to MSPT for DUI.

On 05/02/2026, AST Dispatch received a report of a disturbance in Palmer. AST responded to the scene, and an investigation revealed that Adam Barnes, aged 43 of Palmer, had assaulted a household member and violated conditions of release from another court case. Adam was arrested, transported, and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial.

UPDATE: The vehicle was recovered in Anchorage; criminal charges are still pending.
On 05/01/2026 the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a vehicle which had not been returned to the owner as was required. The vehicle is a red 2015 Ford Expedition with a black brush guard on the front end with the Alaska license of LRR329. A suspect has been identified, and an arrest warrant has been requested. The Alaska State Troopers request if anyone sees this vehicle to contact the Alaska State Troopers at 907-451-5100.

On May 01, 2026, at approximately 2219 hours, Troopers responded to a call of a disturbance. Troopers responded to the area off Heldiver ST and following an investigation, arrested Rebecca Jones for Violating a Protective Order and Criminal Trespass. Rebecca was remanded to FCC.

On May 1, 2026, at 8:22 pm, Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks received a report of a vehicle collision between an SUV and a motorcycle at the intersection of Bradway and Badger Roads in North Pole. AST, AWT, Fire, and EMS responded, and despite lifesaving measures, the driver of the motorcycle, Gerry Washburn, age 19, of North Pole, was declared deceased on scene. Investigation revealed the motorcycle was traveling on Badger and slid into the SUV. No other injuries were reported. Troopers closed the road for approximately two hours to conduct an investigation. Next of kin has been notified. The investigation is ongoing.
