Location: SewardType: Vehicle Theft, DUI, AssaultDispatch Text:
On 5/24/2025, at approximately 1958 hours, Seward AST received a REDDI report of a motorcycle on the Seward Highway near mile 13 with erratic driving behaviors. While responding, AST was notified that a good Samaritan had stopped to check on a motorcycle that had since fallen over, causing injury to the driver. The update included that the motorcycle rider, later identified as Rondy Dupuy, age 47 of Seward, then stole the Jeep of the good Samaritan and had been northbound in the vehicle.
Further investigation revealed the motorcycle was also recently stolen, within a few hours prior to the incident. The stolen Jeep had proceeded northbound Seward Highway where it rear-ended a sedan, causing injury to both occupants. Dupuy was arrested on an outstanding warrant for MICS2, and the new charges of Assault 3 x 2, Vehicle Theft 1 x 2, Theft 2 x 2, DWLR, DUI, and Criminal Trespass 2. After receiving medical care, Dupuy was remanded at Wildwood Pre-Trial. The Seward Highway was closed for approximately two hours during the investigation.

On 5/24/25 at 1605 hours, Troopers received a REDDI report of an intoxicated driver from a business near mile 169 of the Sterling Highway. Troopers located and stopped the vehicle near mile 164 of the Sterling Highway and contacted the driver who was identified as Seth Matchian, 30 of Anchorage. An investigation showed Matchian was driving under the influence of alcohol and arrested. Matchian was arrested and remanded into the Homer Jail.

Location: WillowType: DV Criminal Mischief 4, VCORDispatch Text:
On 05/25/2025 at approximately 0412 hours, AST received a report that Stephanie Randazzo, 26 of Anchorage, was causing a disturbance in Willow. The investigation revealed that Stephanie had broken items of a family member, which had a value of six hundred dollars, and was consuming alcohol while on conditions of release to abstain from alcohol consumption. Randazzo was arrested without incident for Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree and VCOR, transported and remanded to Matsu Pre-trial with no bail.

On 05/25/2025 at approximately 0231 hours, Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks conducted a traffic stop on a silver SUV at mile 258 of the Richardson Highway. The driver of the SUV, Justice Nelson, age 21, of Fairbanks, was arrested for Misconduct Involving a Weapon in the Third Degree for being a felon in possession of a handgun.

On May 24, 2025, at approximately 1113 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to the area of Farmers Loop and the Old Steese Hwy N for the report of an MVC. Investigation revealed that a vehicle failed to stop for a stop sign and T-boned another vehicle.

On 05/25/2025 at 0536 hours a Trooper conducted a traffic stop for an equipment and moving violation. Probable cause was built regarding narcotic activity, and a search warrant obtained for the vehicle for narcotics. Multiple items of drug paraphernalia with narcotics residue was seized from the vehicle to be destroyed. Elizabeth Mogg was not charged criminally but cited for no proof insurance.

On 24 May 2025, at approximately 1755 hours, AST received a report of theft of a debit card that occurred at the Gold Star Liquor Store earlier that morning. It was reported that the card was then used later at Justa Store in an attempt to purchase gas. Jessica Peter was identified at the suspect and has not been located yet. On May 25, 2025, at approximately 1020, the Alaska State Troopers responded to the area of the Richardson Hwy in North Pole for a theft. Investigation revealed that Jon Peterson Sr and James Sievers committed the offense of Criminal Trespass 1 and Theft 3. Both individuals were remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center.

On 05/25/2025 at 0154 hours a Trooper stopped out with an individual in possession of a motorcycle that matched the description of one that was stolen. The motorcycle was not stolen. The individual, Michael Fifer, had a warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and remanded without incident.

Upon arrival, and further investigation, Troopers located and arrested Larry Moseley, for Assault 4 DV and Harassment in the 2nd degree. Larry was transported to FCC without incident.

On May 25, 2025, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a domestic violence incident near McGrath Road. Karson Benson, age 21, allegedly assaulted a female victim by choking her, interfered with her attempt to call 911, and fled the scene. Benson was later located, arrested, and faces multiple charges including assault, interference with a domestic violence report, weapons misconduct, and probation violation.
