    Location: Anchor Point
    Type: Pursuit / Warrant Arrest

    Dispatch Text:

    On 5/2/2025, Alaska State Troopers in Anchor Point conducted a traffic stop due to knowledge the driver, Charles Rockett, had an outstanding arrest warrant. The vehicle failed to stop and continued for over 3 miles, crossing into oncoming traffic on numerous occasions. Additionally, Rockett called 911 during the pursuit in an attempt to get AST to discontinue.

    The vehicle eventually stopped at a residence on the Old Sterling Highway and Rockett was arrested. Rockett was remanded to Homer Jail on 1x count fail to stop / reckless driving, 1x count driving while suspended, 1x count no insurance, and his outstanding warrant (3HO-24-00279CR).

    Type: DUI, Misconduct Involving Weapons 4, Reckless Driving

    Dispatch Text:

    On 5/3/2025, at approximately 1951 hours, AST conducted a traffic stop near mile 5 of the Seward Highway for a moving violation. Investigation led to the arrest of Sean Asman, age 26 of Anchorage for Driving Under the Influence, Reckless Driving, and Misconduct Involving Weapons 4 for being in possession of a firearm while intoxicated. Asman was remanded to Spring Creek Correctional Center where he was held on a $500 bail.

    Location: Wasilla
    Type: Endangering a child/DUI/Assault

    Dispatch Text:

    On 5/3/2025 AST responded to a residence in the area of Inspiration Lp in Wasilla AK for a disturbance.  Before the investigation Silvano Viveiros age 30 of Wasilla fled the scene in a vehicle.  Silvano was located driving the vehicle by AST and a traffic stop was conducted.  The investigation showed that Silvano was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol with three minor children in the vehicle with him.  A further investigation at the residence showed that Silvano assaulted a family member in the presence of four children.  Silvano was remanded to Matsu pretrial where he was given no bail and charged with Endangering a child in the first degree (3 counts), Driving under the influence, Assault in the fourth degree (domestic violence) and assault in the presence of a minor (four counts).

    Update:

    Between the time of the original incident and 5/29/2025 AST conducted an investigation into what the other vehicle was and who was driving.  The other vehicle was identified on 5/3/2025 as a white Toyota Crown and was located and seized on that day.  On 5/29/2025 charges on Logan Seymore were forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office charging him Fail to stop at the direction of a peace officer in the 1st degree and reckless driving.

     

    Original:

    On 5/3/2025 AST attempted a traffic stop on two vehicles racing south on Vine.  The vehicles were on radar going 113 MPH before AST contact. AST attempted a traffic stop on the vehicles and they accelerated and failed to stop.  A pursuit then occurred until one of the vehicles crashed at the intersection of KGB and Vine Rd.  The occupant of the wrecked vehicle then fled on foot from the area.  WPD assisted by deploying K9 Centa-J and a drone and the suspect of the crashed vehicle Trevor Jamison (18) of Wasilla was placed under arrest after a successful K9 track.  Trevor was remanded to Matsu pretrial where he was charged with Fail to stop at the direction of a peace office in the 1st degree, driving under the influence, reckless driving, minor consumption of alcohol and misconduct involving a weapon in the fourth degree and given no bail.

    On 5/2/2025 at 1748 hours, MATCOM AST dispatch received a report of an assault after the fact at MATSU Regional Hospital. AST responded and spoke with the victim. The Investigation revealed Jacob Daniel, 23, of Palmer, had assaulted a household member. Jacob was arrested, transported, and remanded at Matsu Pretial, where he was held with no bail on charges of Assault 2, Assault 3, and Assault 4.

    On 5/2/2025 at approximately 1003 hours, AST responded to the Jonesville Mine Road public use area for an investigation. Upon arrival, AST contacted Frances Napageak, 23, of Palmer. Frances had an outstanding warrant for her arrest for failure to appear in court. Frances was arrested, transported and remanded at Matsu Pretrial where she was held with a $150 bail.

    On 04/28/2025 at approximately 10:44 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a missing snow machiner - 44 YOA Fedrick Armstrong. Two snogo's from Buckland departed to search. Armstrong was located safe on 4/28 and all search teams returned safely.

    Type: Shooting/Assault

    Dispatch Text:

    On May 2, 2025, at 10:49pm, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a shooting incident at a residence in North Pole.  A thorough investigation by the Alaska Bureau of Investigation revealed 20-year-old Kaleb Thomas-Thalacker, of Fairbanks, shot an 18-year-old male, inside the residence. Thomas-Thalacker fled the scene and was later found at another residence, in the Farmer’s Loop area of Fairbanks. The victim was transported to a local area hospital, where he is being treated for a single gunshot wound. Alcohol and drugs were involved.  Thomas-Thalacker was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center for Assault in the 1st Degree, Misconduct Involving a Weapon and Tampering with Evidence. The investigation is on-going.

    On 5-3-25 at approximately 1339 hours, Jameson Yoder, age age 35 of Anvik contacted the Alaska State Troopers to report that his boat a 28 foot Alweld was taken from a residence off Chena Pump.  The investigation is still ongoing.  If anyone has information reference the theft please contact the Fairbanks Alaska State Troopers at 451-5100 your call can remain anonymous.

    On May 3, 2025, AST Troopers conducted a traffic stop around Mile 358 Richardson Hwy for an equipment violation. A passenger of the vehicle was identified as Jessica Coachman (41) who had a warrant out for her arrest. Jessica was arrested and remanded to FCC.

    On May 3, 2025, at approximately 1600 hours, the Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop around Kellum street with an orange ATV, that resulted in a fail to yield. Shortly after the rider (later identified as Donald T. Nelson) and the ATV we located in the Kellum street area. Mr. Nelson was arrested and remanded to FCC for Failure to stop at direction of peace officer.
