On 07/22/2025 at approximately 1325 hours, AST received a call of a Domestic Disturbance in the area of Calero Drive in Palmer. Investigation revealed that George Kraut of Palmer had placed a family member in fear of serious physical injury with a dangerous instrument, assault on a peace officer and resisting arrest.
George was placed under arrest and transported to MSPT and held without bail.

Willow, AK – On July 22, 2025, at approximately 2:45 PM, Alaska State Troopers contacted Valerie Robinson, 63 YOA, during a 911 hang up in the Willow area. Investigation revealed Valerie had two active misdemeanor warrants for her arrest. She was taken into custody without incident and transported to Mat-Su Pretrial, where she was remanded and held on $100 cash appearance bail set by the court.

On 07/21/2025 at approximately 2209 hours, Troopers took a report of a assault in the area of mile 83 of the Richardson Highway. Upon further investigation, Nicholas Nyquist, 45, of Fairbanks was arrested and charged with DUI 1st, Misconduct Involving Weapons in the 4th, and 7 counts of Assault in the 3rd for brandishing a firearm and pulling the trigger on multiple individuals. Nyquist was subsequently transported to Mat-Su Pre Trial and held without bail.

On 07/21/2025, Alaska State Troopers signaled for Kaylub Coleman, 21, to pull over due to his speed. He failed to stop and initiated a pursuit. Ultimately, he was arrested for Fail to Stop at the Direction of a Peace Officer, Reckless Driving, and Reckless Endangerment. A passenger, Airish Medina, 23, was arrested for Tampering with Evidence, Theft 2nd Degree, MISC 5th Degree, False Reporting, Theft 4th Degree, and Fraudulently Obtaining an Access Device. They were both remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center.

On July 22, 2025, at approximately 2100 hours Alaska State Troopers in Tok contacted a vehicle near mile 1313 Alaska Highway. Investigation revealed that the driver, Shannon Kiehl (age 38 of Tanacross), was Driving with a Suspended License after having previously been convicted. Kiehl is also on Conditions of Release in 4TO-23-00043CR. Kiehl was charged with Driving while License Suspended and Violating Conditions of Release.

On July 21, 2025, at approximately 2045 hours, the Alaska Wildlife Troopers were checking for fishing activity on Fish Creek near Big Lake. Troopers watched an individual fish for about a half an hour, in an area closed to salmon fishing, using gear that was intended for harvesting salmon along with casting and retrieving movements intended to hook salmon. When the individual ended his attempts, Troopers contacted him and identified him as Jimmy Davis. It was discovered that Davis was fishing without a valid license and admitted trying to catch a couple salmon for the night. He was issued citations for fishing for salmon in a closed area and not having a fishing license.

On July 14, 2025 Michael Martushev age 21 from Homer and Ouvenaly Martushev age 20 from Homer were cited by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers during the Bristol Bay Salmon Enforcement Program for failing to identify gear with ADFG number, grounding, and employing a crew member without a license in Igushik. Arraignment is scheduled in Dillingham District Court on August 5, 2025.
