On 10/26/2024 at approximately 1740 hours, AST received the report of a male engaged in a physical fight with loss prevention at Three Bears gas station in Big Lake after he stole items from the store. The male was identified to be 22-year-old Alika Antrim. Investigation revealed Antrim had two misdemeanor warrants for fail to appear and providing false info. He was arrested on his warrants and remanded at Matsu Pretrial.

On 10/30/24 at approximately 0945 hours, Court Services Officers assigned to Palmer Judicial Services arrested Tyler Hecks, age 26, of Palmer on an outstanding arrest warrant for Violating a Domestic Violence Protective Order, Unlawful Contact, and Violating Conditions of Release. Hecks was served with the warrant while in-custody at Matsu Pretrial Facility in Palmer. Hecks was remanded on the arrest warrant and held without bail.

On 10/31/2024 AST responded to 2500 S Woodworth Loop (Matsu Regional) in reference to a trespassing complaint. The investigation revealed that Patrick Henry age, 45 of Seward had an active extraditable warrant for his arrest out of New Mexico for battery on a peace officer. He was remanded to Matsu Pretrial for his warrant.

On 10/30/2024 at approximately 2243 hours, AST conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Pittman Rd for an equipment violation. Investigation revealed that the driver identified as Ashley Larsen, 35 YOA of Wasilla, was operating a motor vehicle on a revoked license. Ashley was issued a criminal summons and released on scene.

UPDATE: On 10/30/2024, an arrest warrant was issued for Kyle Madros for one count of Assault in the Fourth Degree and two counts of Assault in the Third Degree, AST conducted a multi-day search of Nulato to take Kyle into custody. On 10/31/2024, Kyle contacted the Nulato Tribal Police Officer (TPO) and expressed his intent to turn himself in. AST took Kyle into custody on the morning of 10/31/2024 and he was transported to Fairbanks via state aircraft to be remanded at Fairbanks Correctional Center (FCC) on his arrest warrant.
ORIGINAL: On 10/26/2024, Alaska State Troopers (AST) in Galena responded to Nulato for a report of a domestic violence assault. Investigation revealed Kyle Madros (age 23 of Nulato) caused physical injury to a family member and placed several community members in fear of serious physical injury or death. During the investigation, members of Northern Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) responded to Nulato to assist in serving a search warrant. Chemical munitions (CS gas), and a drone were utilized during the operation. Investigation is ongoing.

On October 30, 2024, at approximately 2329 hours, AST responded to the area of York Ave for a disturbance report. Investigation revealed that Adam Walters, age 30, of Fairbanks, assaulted his family member. Adam was arrested for DV Assault in the Fourth Degree, transported to FCC, and held without bail.

On October 31, 2024, at approximately 0505 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report from a DOT foreman that one of their grader drivers was intoxicated on the Johansen Expressway. An investigation was conducted, resulting in the arrest of Kevin Glynn, 42 of North Pole, for DUI. Kevin was transported to FCC without incident.

On October 31, 2024 The Alaska State Troopers Criminal Suppression Unit (CSU) contacted Andrew Rihel (age 37 of Fairbanks) at his place of employment outside of Delta Junction. Rihel had an outstanding $50,000 felony warrant for his arrest for two counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the 1st degree and two counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the 2nd degree. Rihel was placed under arrest and remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center on $50,000 bail.

On October 31, 2024 the Alaska State Troopers Criminal Suppression Unit (CSU) K9 Kenny, and AST patrol located Aidan Musser (age 23 of Fairbanks). In Pioneer Park "Alaska Land". Musser had an outstanding $50,000 felony warrant for his arrest for two counts of Burglary in the 1st degree, five counts of theft in the 2nd degree, and four counts of Burglary in the 2nd degree. CSU with K9 Kenny and AST patrol located Musser near the park. Upon contact, Musser surrendered and was taken into custody without incident. Musser was then remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center on $50,000 bail.

On October 30, 2024, the Alaska Bureau of Investigation’s Soldotna Major Crimes Unit received a report that 39-year-old Soldotna resident Dawson Hermanns was in possession of Child Sex Abuse Material (CSAM). Investigators located over 1,000 CSAM images and videos on a thumb drive associated with Hermanns. On the evening of October 30th, Hermanns was arrested without incident and remanded to Wildwood Pretrial Facility on ten counts of Possession of Child Pornography. The investigation is still active and ongoing, and additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues.
