On 11/14/2024 at approximately 1635 hours Alaska State Troopers responded to a vehicle theft in Palmer. The 1992 beige Mercury Sable was parked in the parking lot running when unknown suspects entered the car and left the area. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Alaska State Troopers.

On 11/13/24 AST initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for equipment violation. Investigation revealed that the driver identified as Katherine Larson had a warrant and was driving under the influence of alcohol and was revoked. She was remanded at FCC on Felony DUI, DWLR and her warrant.

On November 14, 2024, at approximately 1044 hours, Fairbanks AST recovered a stolen vehicle on Janel Avenue in North Pole. The stolen vehicle was occupied by Devan Thurmond who was arrested for Vehicle Theft in the first degree. Devan was remanded to FCC without incident.

On 10/08/2024, the Highway Interdiction K9 Team conducted a traffic stop on a spray painted Black Audio sedan for an equipment violation on Bogard Road in Wasilla. While on scene the female passenger provided a false name to avoid arrest. She was identified as Amy Jacobsen, age 46 of Wasilla and it was determined she had an active arrest warrant. The second passenger, Tolumane Saisu, age 32 of Wasilla, had suspected methamphetamine sitting next to him while in the car. Following a search warrant on the vehicle, more methamphetamine was located. Jacobsen is being charged with False Information and Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance 5th and Sasiu is being charged with Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance 5th.

On 11/13/2024 at approximately 1654 hours, the Highway Interdiction K9 Team conducted a traffic stop on a Red Pontiac G6 for a moving violation on Beverly Lakes Road in Wasilla. The driver was identified as Miro Milic, age 34 of Wasilla. Investigation revealed Milic had a revoked driver's license with multiple previous conviction for driving while revoked within the previous 10 years. Milic was issued a misdemeanor summons to appear in court for Driving While License Revoked.
