On 5/14/25 at 1445 hours, Troopers received a request for assistance from State Park Rangers with a female passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle in a State Park Campground in Anchor Point. The female was contacted and identified as Sonja Hartman, 37 of Anchor Point. An investigation found Hartman was in possession of controlled substances and had driven the vehicle with a revoked license. Hartman was given summons to appear for MICS 4th, MICS 5th, and DWLR and released.

On 05/14/2025, at approximately 2034 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report from Palmer Pretrial Enforcement stating Ethan Dvorak, 33 YOA, had tampered with his electronic ankle monitor while on conditions of release and ankle monitor. The following investigation revealed that Ethan had removed his electronic monitor and violated his conditions of release. Ethan was ultimately arrested and transported to MSPT, where he was remanded and held without bail.

On May 14, 2025, Alaska State Troopers were notified around 8:20 p.m. that two juveniles were missing in Talkeetna. Significant searches on land and water were conducted through the night with assistance from the Talkeetna Fire Department, Mat-Su Dive Team, MATSAR, Alaska Railroad Corporation police, FBI and Alaska Bureau of Investigation. The juveniles were located safe the morning of May 15 at an area hotel and were reunited with their families.

On 05/14/25 at approximately 1135 hours, Court Services Officers assigned to Palmer Judicial Services arrested Kevin W. White, age 48, of Wasilla on four outstanding arrest warrants. The original charges on the arrest warrant were, Criminal Trespass in the First Degree, Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree x 2, Theft in the Fourth Degree x 2, Providing False Information or Report, and Violating Conditions of Release x 5. White was served with the warrants while in-custody at Matsu Pretrial Facility in Palmer on unrelated charges. Bail was set at a total of $1,000 cash appearance.

On 05/15/2025 at 0307 hours a Trooper conducted a traffic stop for a registration issue. The driver, Michael Saia, exhibited signs of being intoxicated. An investigation was conducted, and ultimately Saia was arrested for DUI and remanded at FCC.

On 5/15/25 at approximately 1249 hours, the Fairbanks Alaska State Troopers received a 911 call from the owners of Preferred Towing reporting a physical disturbance. Investigation revealed that Mida Panamaroff age 52, of Fairbanks, caused physical injury to household member. Panamaroff was arrested without incident and charged with domestic violence assault in the fourth degree.

On 5/9/25, at 1100 hours, a report of VCOR was reported to AST. Investigation determined Joseph Dentler age 50 of Kaltag had violated his conditions of release by having in direct contact with his victim. Dentler was placed on conditions of release on 3/7/25. (Review 4GA-25-11 CR) A summons was requested charging Dentler with one count unlawful contact & VCOR.

On May 15, 2025, at approximately 1030 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a DV Assault in the area of Newby Rd in North Pole. Investigation revealed that 33-year-old, Devan Strassburg, of North Pole assaulted a juvenile causing physical injury. Devan was remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center on one count of Assault 3(DV) and two count of Assault in the presence of a child.

On 05/15/2025 at 1350 hours the Alaska State Troopers were assisting Commercial Motor Vehicle Enforcement with a temporary weigh scale at Mile 204 Parks Highway, near Cantwell. A truck which was required to stop failed to do so. AST contacted the vehicle and had it return to the scales. Investigation determined the driver, Christopher Rigel, age 33 from Sutton was driving a commercial motor vehicle without a current CDL. Rigel was issued a misdemeanor summons for Driving a CMV without a CDL in addition to other citations.

Location: OuzinkieType: Possession and Distribution of Child Sexual Abuse MaterialDispatch Text:
On May 15, 2025, Investigators from the Alaska Bureau of Investigation's Task Force Dawnbreaker traveled to Ouzinkie for a child sexual abuse material (CSAM) investigation where over 70 CSAM videos were distributed from a residence. Investigators contacted Justine Anderson (age 32 of Ouzinkie) as part of this investigation. Anderson was arrested without incident, and remanded to the Kodiak Jail on 5 counts of Possession of CSAM, and 5 counts of Distribution of CSAM on no bail.
