Location: SewardType: Fail to Stop, Assault 3 and Reckless DrivingDispatch Text:
On 05/29/2025, at approximately 1543 hrs., AST Dispatch received a report from Seward Police Department (SPD) that a black Dodge Challenger was driving recklessly out of Seward passing multiple people in the center lane and passing people on double yellow traffic lines at a high-rate speed. SPD attempted a traffic stop and the driver fled northbound. At approximately 1602 hrs., highway work crews called AST Dispatch and reported a black Challenger blew past several flaggers at a high-rate of speed. The driver almost hit a sweeper truck, pilot car, drove through ditches and fresh paint on the roadway. The vehicle continued northbound. At 1613 hrs., AST stopped the Challenger near mile 36 of the Seward Hwy and contacted a Joseph Kuzmin, age 23 of Homer, who was subsequently arrested. Kuzmin was remanded to Wildwood Pretrial and is initially being charged with Fail to Stop at the Direction of a Peace Officer, Assault 3 and Reckless Driving x 2.

Location: WasillaType: DV Criminal Mischief 4Dispatch Text:
On 05/29/2025 at approximately 2012 hours, AST received a report that there was a disturbance at a residence near Spruce Ave in Wasilla. The investigation revealed that Tonimarie Marden, 37 years old of Wasilla, had damaged the property of a domestic partner. Marden was arrested, transported, and remanded to Matsu Pretrial for DV Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree and held with no bail.

Update:
Between the time of the original incident and 5/29/2025 AST conducted an investigation into what the other vehicle was and who was driving. The other vehicle was identified on 5/3/2025 as a white Toyota Crown and was located and seized on that day. On 5/29/2025 charges on Logan Seymore were forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office charging him Fail to stop at the direction of a peace officer in the 1st degree and reckless driving.

On 5/3/2025 AST attempted a traffic stop on two vehicles racing south on Vine. The vehicles were on radar going 113 MPH before AST contact. AST attempted a traffic stop on the vehicles and they accelerated and failed to stop. A pursuit then occurred until one of the vehicles crashed at the intersection of KGB and Vine Rd. The occupant of the wrecked vehicle then fled on foot from the area. WPD assisted by deploying K9 Centa-J and a drone and the suspect of the crashed vehicle Trevor Jamison (18) of Wasilla was placed under arrest after a successful K9 track. Trevor was remanded to Matsu pretrial where he was charged with Fail to stop at the direction of a peace office in the 1st degree, driving under the influence, reckless driving, minor consumption of alcohol and misconduct involving a weapon in the fourth degree and given no bail.

On 5/30/25 at approximately 1030 hours, the homeowner at a residence off Chinook Drive in Fairbanks reported that an amazon box with products worth approximately $100 was stolen. The suspect walked up to the house, stole the box and left in a small blue car. Anyone with information about this crime can call the Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks at (907) 451-5100. On 05/30/2025 at 0619 hours the Alaska State Troopers received a report of CPR in progress near Mile 260 Parks Highway. Tri-Valley EMS responded and provided care. Ultimately, recusation efforts were not effective and patient was pronounced deceased. The next of kin were notified and the body was released to the funeral home. Foul play is not suspected.

On 5-30-25, Delta Junction AST received a report of a male asleep in the driver seat of a vehicle near Kimball St. EMS and Delta AST responded. Investigation led to Jeremy Brown-Pabon being arrested for DUI. Jeremy provided a sample on the Datamaster resulting in a BrAC of .180. He was transported to FCC where he was remanded for DUI and VCOR.

On 5-30-25, Delta Junction AST received a report of an assault near Salcha Ave. Investigation showed one party was scratched during an argument which turned slightly physical. A juvenile was present in the residence. Charges are being forwarded over for review and parties separated.

On 05/30/2025 at approximately 2235 hours, a Trooper recognized Patrick Knott at the liquor well. The Trooper was aware Knott had multiple warrants and arrested him without incident. He had a $30,000 with 10% posting warrant, a $1000 with 10% posting warrant, and a $100 unsecured warrant. He was transported to FCC and remanded without incident.

On 05/30/2025 at 0001 hours a Trooper recognized Justin Snyder in a vehicle at the Circle K gas station on Peger Road. The Trooper knew Snyder had a No Bail Parole Violation warrant for Murder 2. Snyder fled in his vehicle and a pursuit ensued. Troopers deployed stop sticks on the vehicle, and Snyder crashed his vehicle at the intersection of the Steese Highway and Johansen Expressway. Snyder was arrested for the warrant, Fail to Stop 1, and Resisting Arrest.

On 05/30/2025 at 0529 hours a Trooper conducted a traffic stop for a registration violation. The driver and only occupant was Macy Nakak. Nakak was cited for driving without a license and no proof insurance. Suspected methamphetamine was seized and will be sent to the crime lab for testing. This case is active.

On 05/29/2025, Mat Com dispatch received a 911 call reporting CPR was being conducted on Arlis Riddles (83 years of age) at his home in Glacier View (near mile 100 of the Glenn Hwy). AWT was nearby and responded to assist EMS in life saving measures which were unsuccessful. Investigation revealed that Riddles died of natural causes and his body was released to a funeral home. Next of Kin was on scene.
