On 5/8/23 at 1520 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence off Littmitz St. in Nikiski. While at the residence, Frankie James Hoskins, age 38 of Nikiski, was contacted. Investigation revealed Hoskins had an active arrest warrant for Failure to Appear for arraignment with an original charge of Criminal Trespass 2nd degree. Hoskins was arrested and remanded at Wildwood pretrial with a $250 bail.

On 05/08/2023 at 1744 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a black Chevrolet pick-up truck near the intersection of Nash Road and Salmon Creek Road due to recognizing the driver to be Jordan Hargreaves, age 27 of Seward, to have an active $50 arrest warrant for the original charge of MICS. Investigation revealed Hargreaves was in possession of a controlled substance while on conditions of release for a prior open case. Hargreaves was arrested and transported to the Seward Community Jail where she was remanded for the charges of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree, Misconduct Involving Controlled Substances in the Fourth Degree, Violating Conditions of Release, and for the $50 dollar arrest warrant with no bail set.

On 5/7/23 at 1550 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to Wildwood pretrial in Kenai following a report an inmate had brought in a controlled substance to the jail (located after a "dry cell" procedure). Investigation confirmed Dusten Niel Stanford, age 36 of Anchorage, had brought a controlled substance into the jail. Stanford was remanded on charges of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance 5th degree and Promoting Contraband 1st degree.

On 5/7/23 at 0716 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to the Duck Inn hotel in Soldotna after an occupant reported an ongoing disturbance in one of the rooms. Investigation revealed Jayson Elijah Sanchez, age 24 of Nikiski, had assaulted a family member while on conditions of release for several other cases. Sanchez was arrested and remanded without bail at Wildwood pretrial on charges of Assault 4th degree domestic violence and Violating Conditions of Release.

On 5/7/23 at 1312 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence off Scout Lake Lp. in Sterling following a report of a theft of cash. Investigation revealed a 17 yo male out of Sterling, had stolen $270 from a family member. The male was arrested and remanded at the Kenai Youth Facility on a charge of Theft 3rd degree.

On May 5, 2023, at 10:45 pm, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a death in Uganik Bay on Kodiak Island stating one of the crew for the hunting outfitter based off a boat had been located deceased. It was reported that Rubye Blake, age 33 from Seward, was located deceased in the water approximately 100 yards from the vessel near the beach when they returned to the vessel later in the day. Troopers from Kodiak responded to Uganik Bay to conduct the on-scene investigation and recover the deceased. The body was transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Anchorage for examination. Foul play is not suspected at this time. Blake was the only adult on the boat at the time of her death. Next of kin has been notified.

On 5/7/2023 at approximately 2339 hours Ronald Aldrich, age 34 of North Pole, was contacted driving in the area of mile marker 354 Richardson Highway. An investigation revealed Ronald was driving under the influence of alcohol with a BrAC of 0.100% Ronald was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center on one count of DUI.

On May 7, 2023 AST responded to a report of a disturbance in Fairbanks. Investigation revealed Arther Chesley, age 42 of Fairbanks, damaged a partners phone and door to their residence. Troopers were unable to locate Arther on May 7th. A warrant has been requested for the arrest of Arther.

On May 08, 2023, at approximately 1655 hours, Fairbanks AST received a request for a welfare check near west Fairbanks. Investigation revealed an intoxicated male was sleeping on private property. It was determined the male was too intoxicated to take care of himself and was transported to a local medical facility for evaluation.

On 8 May 2023 at approximately 1048 hours Alaska State Troopers received a report of a catalytic converter theft in the vicinity of Badger. The owner reported he parked his vehicle in a storage lot in August 2023 where the vehicle was fully operational. The owner had a friend start the vehicle on 8 May 2023 and realized one of the catalytic converters appeared to have been removed. AST currently has no leads or witnesses.

On 5-7-23, at approximately 1634 hours, Alaska Wildlife Troopers contacted Kyle John Constantine, age 33 of Anchorage for fishing in 20 Mile River without a fishing license. Constantine was issued a citation for fishing without a sport fish license.
