On 06/01/2025 at approximately 1935 hours, Troopers took a report of a male brandishing a shotgun in the Copper Center area. Involved parties were contacted and interviewed. Parties did not wish to pursue criminal charges at that time and were ultimately separated.

On 6/2/25 at approximately 1742 hours, Mat-Su AST conducted a traffic stop on a red 2020 Harley Motorcycle for speeding on the Parks Hwy near Church Rd. Investigation revealed the driver John Mc Birney age 56, of Wasilla was driving while under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested for DUI and transported to MSPT where his bail was set at $500.

On 06/02/2025 at approximately 0020 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a missing 81-year-old female in the Big Lake Area. Investigation revealed Patricia Kowalski was missing from her residence and the circumstances led to a Silver Alert Activation. AST search through the night and at approximately 0550 hours, a Good Samaritan called AST to advised Kowalski was located and she was safe.

On 06/02/2025 at approximately 0855 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to Pittman Three Bears for a report of a shoplifter. Investigation led to Aleigh Stauffer, age 37 of Big Lake, being charged with Theft IV and Criminal Trespass II. Stauffer was issued a misdemeanor citation to appear in court and released.

On 06/02/2025 at approximately 1345 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a vehicle theft from an address on Wolverine Drive in Big Lake. Investigation led to a juvenile suspect. The vehicle was recovered and charges for Vehicle Theft I are being forwarded to the Dept. of Juvenile Justice.

On 06/02/2025 at approximately 1119 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to an address on En Dove in Wasilla for a report of three people passed out in a vehicle. Upon arrival, Troopers discovered evidence of drug possession and distribution. Investigation led to the arrest of Christopher Toves, age 33 of Wasilla, for MICS III & MICS IV. Serenity Laframboise, age 21 of Wasilla, was arrested for DUI and MISC V. Finally, Aaron Clark age 33 of Wasilla, was arrested for MICS V. All parties were remanded to the custody of the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.

On June 2, 2025, at approximately 1145 hours Alaska State Troopers in Tok contacted Darin Mark, age 54 of Tetlin, at a local business. Mark had outstanding warrants for his arrest in 4FA-24-01735CR, 4TO-21-00071CR, and 4TO-24-00080CR. Mark was placed under arrest for his warrants and transported to the Tok Court, where he posted bail.

On June 2 2025, at approximately 0830 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of an assault at Fairbanks Correctional Center. Investigation revealed Mathew Meyers. age 45 of Fairbanks was assaulted by Quentin Demoski, age 32 of Fairbanks and Eric Adams, age 37 of Fairbanks. Charges are being forwarded to the Fairbanks District Attorneys office.

On June 5, 2025, at approximately 0436 hours, The Alaska State Troopers responded to the Circle K on Phillips Field Rd for a Robbery. Through investigation and numerous tips from the public, the male was identified as Emanuel Bostwick, 19 YOA, of Fairbanks. Emanuel was apprehended and remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center on one count of Robbery in the First Degree.

On June 2, 2025, at approximately 9:32 PM, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the area of College Road in Fairbanks. Following an investigation, troopers arrested Nikita Brown, age 25, for violating the conditions of her release and for providing a false report. Brown was transported and remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center without incident.

On 06/01/2025 during an investigation Alaska Bureau of Investigation learned that Todd William Dreka, age 58 of Wasilla, had an extraditable arrest warrant out of Florida. Dreka was wanted on a felony warrant for aggravated assault of a pregnant person. Florida was contacted and confirmed extraditions. Task Force Dawnbreaker, Alaska Bureau of Investigation, and Alaska State Troopers contacted Dreka at his residence and arrested him on the warrant. Dreka was charged with Fugitive from Justice and was remanded to Mat Su Pretrial where he was held without bail.

On May 24, 2025, Alaska State Troopers in Palmer received a report that a 16-year-old had been inappropriately touched. The Alaska Bureau of Investigation Mat Su Child Abuse Investigation Unit (CAIU) responded and took over the case. The investigation revealed Justen Walker, age 41 of Wasilla, had committed the crime of sexual abuse of a minor 2nd degree. Walker fled the area and went into hiding. On May 30, 2025, with the assistance of the Alaska Bureau of Investigation’s Task Force Dawnbreaker, Walker was located and then contacted by AST South Central SWAT and Wasilla Police Department. Walker was arrested without incident and remanded to Mat Su Pretrial without bail pending arraignment.
