    Dispatch Text:

    On June 26, 2024 at approximately 2102 hours, the Alaska State Troopers (AST) received a Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately (REDDI) report about a light blue colored Ford Explorer swerving all over the road, tailgating, and speeding up and then slowing down on East End Road in Homer. AST responded to the area and located the vehicle. Investigation revealed Brandon Brewer, age 29, of Seward was driving under the influence. Investigation also revealed Brandon was on conditions of release from his prior misdemeanor arrests. Brandon was remanded to the Homer jail for one count of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and Violating Conditions of Release (VCOR).

    Location: Big Lake
    Type: Warrant Arrest; SWAT response

    Dispatch Text:

    On 06/26/24 at 1640 hours, AST arrived at a residence on W. Sunrise Road in Big Lake for a welfare check on 39-year-old Phillip Moore, who had felony and misdemeanor warrants for his arrest. Upon contact at the property, Phillip ran inside the residence and refused to exit. A 45-year-old female, Danielle Moore, was contacted in the yard at the property and arrested for a felony warrant with time to serve. Further investigation revealed 67-year-old Linda Moore, was inside the residence with Phillip. Linda had 3 misdemeanor warrants for her arrest with time to serve. South Central SWAT responded and at 1847 hours, Phillip and Linda exited the residence and were arrested without further incident.

    On 06/26/2024 at approximately 1959 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence on Hemlock Drive in Wasilla. Troopers contacted Joshua Ortega, age 41 of Wasilla. Investigation revealed Ortega had a parole warrant for his arrest on the original charge of Promoting Contraband and MIW III. Ortega was arrested and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.

    Location: Wasilla
    Type: Fail To Stop at the Direction of a Peace Officer

    On 06/27/2024 at approximately 0052 hours, Alaska State Troopers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on blue 1996 Harley Davidson Motorcycle near Sunset Ave and Knik Goose Bay Road in Wasilla. The driver failed to yield for Troopers for approximately five minutes but ultimately stopped. Christopher Faulk, age 46 of Wasilla, was arrested for Failing to Stop at the Direction of a Peace Officer and remanded into the custody of the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held.

    On 06/26/2024 at approximately 1705 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a missing person from a residence on Alder Drive in Wasilla. Investigation revealed Judith Hollstein, age 64 of Wasilla, was missing from the residence. Anyone with information on Hollstein's whereabouts is urged to contact Troopers at 907-745-2131.

    Location: Wasilla
    Type: Felony Eluding & Reckless Driving

    Dispatch Text:

    On 06/26/2024 at approximately 2317 hours, Alaska State Troopers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a black sport motorcycle near mile 9 Knik Goose Bay Road for driving recklessly. The motorcycle eluded AST and continued at a high rate of speed into a local neighborhood. Troopers were unable to locate the motorcycle. Anyone with information related to the identity of the driver is urged to contact Troopers, AKTips, or Crime Stoppers.

    On 06/26/2024 at approximately 1624 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of an assault between two inmates at Mat-Su Pretrial. Investigation is ongoing.

    On 06/26/2024 at approximately 1650 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to Maple Springs housing in Palmer for a report of a disturbance. Investigation led to the arrest of Seymour Pete, age 60 of Palmer, for multiple counts of Assault IV. Pete was arrested and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.

    Type: Motor Vehicle Collision - Damage Only & Warrant Arrest

    On 06/26/2024 at approximately 1706 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a motor vehicle collision on Wasilla Fishhook Road near Polar Bear Road in Wasilla. No injuries were reported but the roadway was blocked for a short time. Troopers contacted Martin Vandever, age 52 of Wasilla, and investigation revealed Vandever had a warrant for his arrest for Failure to Remand on the original charge of Assault II. Vandever was arrested and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.

    On 06/27/2027 at approximately 0114 hours, Alaska State Troopers contacted Robert Malone, age 52 of Palmer, at a residence in Palmer. Malone had a warrant for his arrest on the original charge of DWLR. Malone was arrested and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.

    Type: Structure Fire

    Dispatch Text:

    On June 26, 2024, at 6:43 pm, the Alaska State Troopers were notified of a structure fire at a building near the Stebbins School. An Alaska State Trooper was in the community when the report came in and responded to the fire. Despite efforts from the community to slow the spread of the fire, it spread to at least five other buildings, including the school. The school appears to be a total loss. Deputy Fire Marshals are responding to determine the origin and cause of the fire. No injuries or deaths have been reported to Troopers.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 06/27/2024 at about 0540 hours, the Alaska State Troopers in Delta Junction were notified of a disturbance at a residence in Big Delta. Investigation revealed Tyler Ipsen, age 22 of Delta Junction assaulted a family member and caused damage to multiple items at the residence. Ipsen was arrested for Assault in the 4th Degree (DV) and Criminal Mischief in the 5th Degree (DV) and transported to the Fairbanks Correctional Center where he was held without bail.

    Type: Fail to Stop/VCOR/DWLR

    Dispatch Text:

    On 6/26/24 at about 1452 hours, Troopers assigned to the Highway Interdiction Team attempted to stop a vehicle at Mile 64 of the Parks Highway for speeding. Instead of stopping the vehicle accelerated and failed to stop. After a short distance the vehicle yielded and the driver, identified as 29 year old Wasilla resident Joseph Warren, was taken into custody. Records revealed Warren had a Revoked driver's license and was on conditions of release for a Misdemeanor with the condition that he not drive without a valid license. Warren was arrested and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial on charges of Fail to Stop 2nd degree, Violating Conditions of Release, and Driving While License Revoked. His bail was set at $250.
