    Dispatch Text:

    On 9/7/2024, Alaska State Troopers in Anchor Point were conducting random foot patrols at Sacred Acres music festival when they observed an individual snorting something in their vehicle. Subsequent investigation determined that Raven Wilson-Boles (age 32 & performer at the festival) was using Ketamine. Raven was issued a misdemeanor summons for misconduct involving a controlled substance in the 5th degree and released on his own recognizance.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 9/8/2024, Alaska State Troopers in Anchor Point responded to the Ninilchik Fairgrounds for a report of an Assault. Subsequent investigation determined Cayla Clure, 24 years old of Homer, had assaulted two people and was in possession Cocaine. Cayla was arrested and remanded to Homer Jail on 2x counts of Assault and 1x count of misconduct involving a controlled substance.

    On 09/09/2024 at approximately 0032 hours, AST conducted a traffic stop on a silver Infiniti for a moving violation near the intersection of Parks Hwy and Zak Lake Pl. Investigation revealed Vanessa Wulf, age 44 of Houston, was driving while under the influence. Wulf was arrested and transported to Mat-Su Pretrial where she was remanded for the charge of DUI and released on her own recognizance.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 9/8/24 at approximately 2336 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of an assault on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway. Investigation revealed Daniel Hensley, 32 of Wasilla, caused physical injury to a domestic partner. Daniel was arrested on two counts of Assault 4 DV and remanded to MatSu Pre-Trial. Bail was set at no bail.

    ON 09/09/24 at 0742 hours, Angela Jenkins, age 33 of Wasilla, called Matcom requesting AST assistance in getting personal belongings from her residence in Wasilla. Investigation revealed Jenkins had assaulted a family member and damaged $20.00 worth of belongings at the residence. Jenkins was arrested and remanded at Mat-Su Pretrial for Assault in the 4th degree and Criminal Mischief in the 5th degree.

    On 09/08/2024, the Alaska State Trooper Dispatch Center received multiple calls from a known suspect, who reported no crime.  An investigation was opened with potential charges pending for Interference with Emergency Communications AS 11.56.785.

    On September 8, 2024, at approximately 2153 hours, Alaska State Troopers in Tok received a REDDI report of a road rage incident wheat a vehicle had thrown an object at another vehicle and fired a gun. AST in the area responded and located the suspect vehicle. Investigation resulted in the passenger of the vehicle, Daniel Phillips, age 41 of Copper Center, being placed under arrest for three counts of Assault in the Third Degree and one count of Misconduct involving a Weapon in the Third Degree. Phillips was held pending arraignment.

    On 09/08/24 AST attempted a traffic stop on a red Chevy in the area of Peger road. Vehicle failed to stop at AST's direction leading AST to initiate a vehicle pursuit. Vehicle stopped near Sheep creek road and the driver who was identified as Coty Joseph-Simon age 37 out of Fairbanks was arrested for Probation violation and Failure to stop at direction of peace officer in the first degree. He was remanded at FCC on those charges.

    On 09/02/2024 at approximately 0423 hours, Aleksey Gayvoronskiy, age 21 of Wasilla, was contacted near mile 130 of the Glenn Hwy during a traffic contact. Investigation revealed that Gayvoronskiy was in possession of a caribou in which he harvested in GMU 20 on a drawing tag but had failed to validate his harvest ticket. Gayvoronskiy was cited for Fail to Validate Harvest ticket.

    On 09/02/2024 at approximately 2314 hours, Petelo Afi'a, age 61 of Anchorage, was contacted on a traffic stop for a moving violation near mile 126 of the Glenn Hwy it. During the stop, he was found to be in possession of 65 fish that he failed to log on his dipnet permit for the Chitina River.  Afi'a was issued a citation for Fail to Log Personal Use Salmon on his Permit.

    Type: Take Moose Closed Season/ Unlawful Possession and Transport

    Dispatch Text:

    On 9/04/2024 at approximately 2110 hours, Kerry Line, age 39 of Eagle River, was contacted near a trailhead in the Eureka area. He was found to be in possession of sub-legal moose antlers and no meat. Investigation revealed that Line had hauled the meat out of the field the day prior and failed to contact authorities to notify Troopers or ADF&G that he harvested an illegal bull moose despite being in cell service at times for two days with a satellite communication device available as well. Line's moose meat, antlers, and rifle were seized.  The meat was donated to charity.  Line was charged on misdemeanor counts for Take Moose Closed Season and Unlawful Possession/ Transport. The Alaska Wildlife Troopers would like to encourage members of the public to self-report any unlawfully harvested game that was taken mistakenly.  Self reported violations typically receive substantially lower fines and shown leniency. Self turn in cases typically aren't charged criminally.

    On 09/03/2024 at approximately 1656 hours, Garfield Adams, age 27 of Soldotna, was contacted along an ATV trail in the Eureka area. Adams was found to be in possession of an undersized bull moose. The meat and antlers were seized.  The meat was donated to charity.   Adams was issued a misdemeanor charge for Take Moose Closed Season and two bailable citations (Fail to Validate Harvest Ticket/ Evidence of Sex Naturally Attached) for the Glennallen Court.

    Type: Overlimit King Salmon, Commercial Limited Fishery

    Dispatch Text:

    On 9/5/24 Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Gary McMaster, age 74, of Sitka, after he landed 14 king salmon at a local processor when a total of 12 are allowed for September 1-10, during the commercial troll limited harvest season for king salmon. An arraignment is set in the district court at Sitka. Two king salmon were donated to a local charity.
