On 8/20/2024 at approximately 1550 hours, Palmer Judicial Services responded to a report of an out-of-custody defendant who was having unlawful contact with another individual at the Palmer Courthouse. Investigation determined that Taylor Monte, age 27 of Wasilla, was in violation of a court order for being in contact with his alleged victim. Monte was subsequently arrested for Unlawful Contact I and Violating Conditions of Release and transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility with no bail pending arraignment.

On 08/20/2024 at approximately 2032 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence on the Parks Hwy in Houston for a report of a domestic disturbance. Investigation led to the arrest of William Gibson, age 31 of Houston, for Assault IV DV. Gibson was remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.

On 08/20/2024 at approximately 2119 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to the area of Lollybrock Drive and Kelsi Loop in Wasilla for a single-vehicle rollover. Investigation led to the driver being issued citations for Negligent Driving and No Proof of Insurance. No injuries were reported.

On 8/19/2024 at approximately 1600 hours, AST contacted a male for a bicycle violation in the area of N Sasbo Bluff. Investigation revealed that the male identified as, William Boardman age 50 of Wasilla, had a $250 warrant for Failure to appear original charge of criminal trespass. AST placed Boardman under arrest, transported to Matsu Pretrial where he was remanded on the warrant.

On August 16, 2024, AST received a report of a DV assault that occurred in Stebbins. On August 20, 2024, AST responded to Stebbins. Investigation revealed Patrick Agibinik (22 yoa Stebbins) assaulted a woman by throwing her to the ground and pinning her down with his knee causing minor injuries. Agibinik was on conditions of release in two open DV criminal cases involving the same victim. AST arrested Agibinik for Assault in the 4th Degree and VCOR. AST transported Agibinik to AMCC in Nome.

On 08/16/2024 at approximately 22:57 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a distress call. The iPhone Satellite Relay received a location for 3 individuals who reported their boat had swamped and later sank in the Kobuk River, 9 miles downriver from Shungnak. A search team from Shungnak responded and rescued the individuals who were then transported back to Shungnak and released at the Clinic.

When Troopers arrived, the suspect fled the scene, the suspect was identified as Travis Wicken. Travis was apprehended later that evening and remanded to FCC for Assault in the 4th degree.
