On September 28th, 2024, at approximately 2251 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a disturbance off Fairview Loop. Investigation revealed, Anthony Davis, age 35 of Wasilla, recklessly caused physical injury to a significant other. Anthony was arrested for assault in the fourth degree and was held at MSPT without bail pending arraignment.

On 9/28/2024 at approximately 1939 hours, MATCOM received a call regarding a possibly intoxicated driver who just drove their vehicle off the road at W Willow Fishhook Rd and W Locke Lane in Willow. AST arrived in the area at approximately 2033 hours and observed the same vehicle driving, making a turn into the opposite lane. The vehicle was stopped and an investigation revealed Shantell Debner was driving under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested for Felony driving under the influence. She provided a breath sample of 0.227. Shantell was remanded to the Matsu Pretrial facility on her charge and held on no bond.

On 09/29/2024 at approximately 1438 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of an injured paraglider that had crashed in Hatcher Pass, near Marmot Mtn. A 41-year-old male was injured about half-way up the mountain face. LifeMed responded and transported the male to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.

On 09/29/2024 at approximately 1125 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to an address on Dawn Lake Dr in Wasilla. Investigation led to the arrest of Patrick Weissert, age 60 of Wasilla, for Indecent Exposure I x2 DV. Weissert was remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.

On September 27, 2024, at approximately, the Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on Nordale Road. The driver was identified as Larisa Silas, age 29 of Fairbanks. Further investigation revealed that Larisa’s driver's license had been revoked and that she had two prior convictions of driving while revoked in the past 10 years. Larisa was issued a summons to court for driving while revoked.

On September 29, 2024, at approximately 0006 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of an ATV side-by-side rollover on St Patrick Rd. One of the passengers was transported by EMS to Fairbanks Memorial for non-life-threatening injuries. After further investigation, the driver was identified as Brannon Phillips, age 27 of Fairbanks, and arrested for assault in the 3rd degree and reckless driving. Brannon was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center without incident.

On September 25, 2024, at approximately 0324 hours Alaska State Troopers in Tok responded to a report of an assault at a residence in Northway involving Eva De Bose, age 34 of Northway. AST was unable to locate De Bose at the time. Investigative efforts continued and resulted in charges being forwarded on De Bose for one count of Criminal Mischief in the 5th Degree and one count of False Report. Additional charges of Hindering Prosecution in the Second Degree have been forwarded to the District Attorney for individuals who aided De Bose in avoiding AST at the time of the incident.

On 7/31/24, Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Sitka Post contacted the tender "Angie" near the Sitka airport. Troopers located an unprocessed king salmon aboard the tender which was not commercially landed. Investigation revealed, Cleveland Eells, age 34 of Sitka, had taken the salmon from his commercial vessel under sport fish regulations on the same day he commercially fished for other salmon. The king salmon did not have its dorsal fin removed as required. Further, during the investigation Troopers discovered Eells had failed to document partial deliveries of commercial fish to two tenders on 7/30/24. Eells was cited for failing to mark salmon caught on board a commercially licensed vessel, commercial fishing for salmon and sport fishing for salmon on the same day, and fish ticket violations. Tender operator, Daniel Baggett, age 63 of Kansas was cited for possessing a sport king salmon without a transfer of possession form. The king salmon was seized. Baggett previously pled no contest to the offense in in the District Court at Sitka, a $300 fine was assessed. Eells arraignment is set for 10/8/24 in Sitka.
