On 3/16/25 at 1520 hours, Christopher Daniel Stroh, 40 of Soldotna, was contacted outside of Wildwood Pretrial where he turned himself in on two outstanding arrest warrants. Stroh was remanded without bail on a Parole Warrant and for Failure to Comply with conditions of probation (original charge of Assault 3rd degree).

On 3/16/2025 at approximately 1640 hours, AST responded to a REDDI report in the community of Klawock. AST located the suspect vehicle and after a brief investigation, arrested 31-year-old Ricardo Carle of Craig. Ricardo was found to be operating a motor vehicle at over 4 times the legal limit of .08. Additionally, Ricardo's minor child was in the vehicle at the time. Ricardo was remanded to the Craig Jail pending arraignment.

On 3/16/2025, at approximaltey 1000 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to the area of Pioneer Peak Drive in Wasilla for a warrant tip. AST arrived on scene and located Dustin Kerr, age 38 of Wasilla. Dustin had an outstanding arrest warrant for the original crime of MIW III and a probation violation. AST announced themselves to Dustin and told Dustin he was under arrest. Dustin attempted to flee the property, and a brief foot chase ensued. The foot chase ended due to icy road conditions. Dustin was arrested and was transported to Matsu Pretrial where he was remanded and held on a $1,000 bail.

On 3/16/2025 AST conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Wasilla-Fishhook for a traffic violation. The investigation showed that the driver Donald Craig was currently on probation for a felony DUI with conditions to not be operating a motor vehicle. During a probation search of the vehicle, it was also discovered that John Weber was inside who had an active warrant for MICS 5 with a $200 bail. It was also discovered that Dawson Laporte was in possession of methamphetamine and heroin and Victoria Laporte was in possession of methamphetamine. Donald was remanded to Matsu Pretrial for a probation violation, John was remanded to Matsu pretrial for his warrant and Dawson and Victoria were given criminal summons for MICS 5 and released on scene.

On March 15th, 2025 at approximately 2209 hours, AST received a report of a disturbance in progress. Investigation revealed that John Fuller had assaulted a family member and damaged property. John was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial for Assault IV and Criminal Mischief III.

On 3/16/25 at approximately 0140 hours Palmer AST performed a routine traffic stop on a vehicle near Church and Church Ridge Rd in Wasilla. Investigation revealed the driver, Tamra Cox, age 34 of Wasilla, provided a false name to AST and when identified was found to have multiple outstanding warrants for her arrest: Fail to Appear, Original Charge of DWLR $500 bail and Fail to Appear, Original Charges of Theft 3rd Degree, Criminal Trespass 1st Degree, Misconduct Involving Controlled Substances Misconduct Involving Controlled Substances 2nd Degree, Misconduct Involving Controlled Substances 3rd Degree and 2 counts Misconduct Involving Controlled Substances 4th Degree, and Misconduct Involving Weapons 2nd Degree with a bail of $5,000.
A passenger in the vehicle was identified as Charles Wood, age33 of Wasilla. Wood was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest for a Parole violation stemming from original charges of Fail to Stop for a Peace Officer 1st Degree and Attempted Theft 2nd Degree with no bail.
Cox and Wood were arrested and transported to Mat Su Pretrial. Cox was remanded with a total of $5,500 bail and a new charge of False Info. Wood was remanded on his warrants and held without bail.

On 03/16/2025 at approximately 0124 hours, AST responded to the area of East Schrock Road and East Sage Road in Wasilla for a female who left a care facility. AST contacted Geneva Maxine Loreena Smith, age 22 of Wasilla. Investigation revealed Geneva had an active warrant for her arrest for Criminal mischief in the 4th degree. Geneva was arrested and transported to Mat-Su Pre-Trial where she was remanded and held on a $250 cash appearance bail.

On March 15, 2025 at approximately 9:45pm, Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Christian Florez of Fairbanks. Investigation revealed that Florez was driving while impaired by alcohol. He was arrested and remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center.

On 03/15/2025, AST initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for window tint violation on the Mitchell Expy on ramp to Richardson Hwy. The driver failed to stop until she approached Old Richardson Hwy and Lakeview Dr. The driver was Annette Keogh. Investigation revealed her to be under the influence, she was remanded at FCC for Failure to Stop 2nd degree, DWLR, VCOR and DUI.

On March 16th 2025, at about 1311 hours, Troopers responded to the Farmers Loop West transfer site in Fairbanks for the report of a driver and front passenger "Nodding off" in a motor vehicle. Upon arrival and further investigation, the driver, Melissa Norman, was arrested for DUI and MICS 5. Melissa was transported to FCC without further incident.

On 3-16-25, at approximately 1620 hours, Parks Highway Alaska and Wildlife troopers responded to mile 216 of the Parks Highway for a two vehicle collision. An investigation disclosed Mary Loesche-Carter, age 55 of Healy, entered the Parks Highway to go north and failed to see a vehicle going south. Both vehicle were damaged and towed from the scene. Loesche-Carter was issued several citations relating to the incident. No injuries reported.

On 03/11/2025 at approximately 1757 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on the gray Ford F-150 pickup for speeding near MP 160 Parks Hwy. Investigation revealed Joshua Reed, 37 YOA of Anchorage, was driving while his AK driver’s license was revoked for a DUI conviction. Reed was issued a citation for speeding and a summons for DWLR. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver.
