On 6/9/2025 at approximately 2328 hours, AST received a report of an assault at a residence off Church St in Palmer. Investigation revealed that Starr Richards, 38 YOA, had physically assaulted a family member. Richards was arrested and remanded to MSPT, where she was held without bail.

On 06/10/2025 at approximately 1541 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to Cloudy Lake in Meadow Lakes for a report of a drowning in progress. Troopers quickly arrived on scene, entered the lake, and successfully rescued the juvenile. Further investigation revealed the juvenile was a victim of a recent assault and was fleeing from the suspect. Investigation is ongoing and charges are expected to be filed with Dept. Juvenile Justice.

On June 10, 2025 at approximately 0027 hours, 911 received a report from that a juvenile (17M) from Fairbanks and a family member were in a physical altercation while driving towards Fairbanks on the Steese HWY. Following an investigation, the juvenile was found to have placed his family member in fear of serious injury and/or death with a firearm. The juvenile was transported and remanded to Fairbanks Youth Facility without further issue.

On June 10, 2025, at approximately 2008 hours, Fairbanks AST located David Mark Chesser, age 62, near Chena Pump Road and Dartmouth Drive. David had two outstanding warrants, one for domestic violence assault in the fourth degree and one for driving while license canceled/revoked/suspended. David was remanded to FCC without incident.

On June 10, 2025, at approximately 1814 hours, Fairbanks AST contacted Ethan Wiehl-Ortiz at Creamer's Field. Ethan was on parole for misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fourth degree. After conferring with parole officers, AST arrested Ethan for a parole violation and transported him to Fairbanks Correctional Center without incident.

On June 9th, 2025, Troopers responded to two separate reports of a man, later identified as Kane Evan, in the roadway near Little Shot and the Parks Highway with a dog. Kane was first contacted and warned not to enter the roadway again, as it posed a hazard to the motoring public. Despite this, he was later seen running down the middle of the road with his dog, causing a vehicle to swerve into oncoming traffic to avoid hitting him. Kane was subsequently arrested for Disorderly Conduct under AS 11.61.110(a)(5) for knowingly creating a hazardous condition and obstructing traffic after being previously warned.

On June 10, 2025, Task Force Dawnbreaker (Alaska Bureau of Investigation Technical Crime Unit, and U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigation) contacted Jason Keller (age 38 of Wasilla) during a exploitation of a minor investigation. An investigation revealed that Keller solicited a 13-year-old female for sex and distributed images of his genitalia to the female. Keller was located and arrested without incident. He was remanded to the Anchorage Correctional Facility on the charges of Attempted Sexual Abuse of a Minor II, Distributing Indecent Material to a Minor, Exploitation of a Minor, and Tampering with Evidence.
