On 11/9/24, at approximately 1830 hours, Matthew Woodhouse, age 41, of Palmer, was contacted as a result of a traffic stop, near Mile 9 Knik River Road, after he was observed driving an ATV on the roadway. As a result of the contact, it was determined that Woodhouse had a warrant for his arrest (3PA-22-00032CR) for Failure to Remand for the Original Charge of DUI. Subsequently, he was arrested on the warrant and transported to MSPT, in Palmer, where he was remanded and held in a no bail status to serve three days in jail.

On 11/9/24, at approximately 1830 hours, Matthew Woodhouse age 41, of Palmer, was contacted as a result of a traffic stop, near Mile 9 Knik River Road, in Palmer, after he was observed driving an ATV on the roadway. As a result of the contact, it was determined that Woodhouse had a warrant for his arrest (3PA-22-01386CR) for Failure to Comply with Conditions of Release for the Original Charges of DUI, Refusal, and DWLR. Subsequently, he was arrested on the warrant and transported to MSPT, in Palmer, where he was remanded and held in lieu of $250 bail.

On 11/8/2024 at approximately 1143 hours, AST received a report of a Vehicle in the Ditch (VID) near Beverly Lake Rd. and Robin Hood Ln. in Wasilla. Investigation revealed Sheronda Leniear, age 47 of Wasilla, was operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Leniear was arrested at the scene without incident. She was charged with DUI and remanded into Mat-Su Pretrial. She was later released under her own recognizance.

On 11/09/2024 at approximately 1553 hours Alaska State Troopers contacted Charles Cox, age 37 of Wasilla, at a residence in Wasilla. Cox was arrested and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial for an active arrest warrant (3PA-24-02135CR o/c Violate DV protective order).

On 11.9.24 at approximately 1530 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic on a 2016 Ford F150 for an equipment violation on Gold Mint Rd in Wasilla. An investigation revealed the passenger, Evan Palmer age 44 of Palmer, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Palmer was arrested for his warrant and transported to MSPT for remand.

On 11/9/2024 at approximately 1100 hours, AST received a report of a disturbance at a residence in Williwaw subdivision. Investigation revealed James Wells Jr, age 27 of Wasilla, had an outstanding warrant for Failure to Remand on the original charge of MICS 5th. James was arrested at the scene without incident and remanded into MSPT where he was held with no bail.

On 11/8/24 at approximately 2238 hours, the Alaska State Troopers in Wasilla contacted 28-year-old Quentin White on a traffic stop near Meadow Lakes Loop. Investigation revealed Quentin was operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Troopers arrested him and transported him to Mat-Su Pre-Trial where he was remanded.

On 11-9-24, Delta Junction AST responded to a MVC involving a Black Gold Truck and a passenger vehicle near milepost 320 of the Richardson Hwy. While AST was responding, the passenger vehicle fled the scene. The crash took place near Orchid drive and Black Gold dash cam showed a white ford pickup with a snowplow slowly pull out in front of the semi. The Black Gold semi received minor damage and was driven away from the scene. A level 2 CMV inspection was performed on the Black Gold semi and the truck passed.
If anyone has information about the suspect or the suspect vehicle please contact AST. The vehicle will likely have damage to the front passenger side of the vehicle as the Black Gold semi attempted to avoid the vehicle but was unable too. The suspect potentially has the first name of Jake.

On 11/09/2024 at approximately 1100 hours, Alaska Wildlife Troopers observed Lucas Wojtowicz, age 19 from Anchorage, shoot a shotgun from the roadway while hunting south of Glennallen. Wojtowicz was cited for shooting From/On or Across the road way. It is unlawful to shoot on, from, or across a roadway anywhere in the State of Alaska.

On 11/08/2024, Alaska Wildlife Troopers filed criminal charges against Joshua Fleetwood, age 38 of Palmer, for misdemeanor counts of Fail to Salvage Moose Meat and Transport Antlers Before Meat. The charges resulted from an investigation that began on 09/27/2024 when a moose was discovered in the Wasilla area with missing antlers cut off at the base along with unsalvaged rib, neck, and brisket meat. Wildlife Troopers ultimately were able to determine Fleetwood was the shooter and the moose was otherwise a legal animal to harvest for the area. Fleetwood was issued a Mandatory Court Appearance for 12/17/2024 in the Palmer Court.
