On June 13th, 2024, at approximately 2238 hours, Alaska State Troopers contacted 31-year-old Soldotna resident for a third party report regarding a dispute with her husband. Subsequent investigation determined the husband, 40 year old Soldotna resident Jasen Cronk, destroyed property valued between 200-300 dollars in their residence. He was arrested and remanded to Wildwood Pretrial for Domestic Violence Assault in the 4th degree (Fear) and two counts of Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree.

On 6-13-2023 at approximately 2028 hours, MAATCOM AST dispatch received a call of an active disturbance in the Wasilla area. AST responded and spoke with the residents of the house. Investigation revealed Dana Bowers, 44, of Wasilla, assaulted two roommates in the residence. Dana was arrested and remanded at Matsu Pretrial for Assault 3, Assault 4 (physical), Assault 4 (fear), and Criminal Mischief 5.

Location: StebbinsType: Traffic InvestigationDispatch Text:
On June 12, 2024, at 10:58 am, two Alaska State Troopers were patrolling in the community of Stebbins. Troopers spotted an ATV traveling at an excessive speed, approximately 40 miles per hour, on a main road frequently used by pedestrians and children. Troopers located the ATV and the driver, 21-year-old Stebbins resident Deynese Pete, at a laundromat, and when they contacted the driver, she refused to stop and returned to the ATV. As Pete attempted to flee on the ATV, she ran over one of the Trooper’s feet. Troopers physically stopped her from continuing to flee on the ATV and placed her under arrest. Pete was remanded to Anvil Mountain Correctional Center on charges of Assault 3, Resisting Arrest, and Failure to Stop at the Direction of a Peace Officer.

On 6-14-24, at approximately 0200 hours, Parks Highway Alaska State Troopers received a "distress" call from an adult male reporting he was left on the side of the road by friends/family for no apparent good reason, did not know where he was and hurt his ankle from a bear or moose that was reported to be chasing him. AST responded and located the male. AST got the person to a safe location. Alcohol is a factor in this incident.

On 6-14-24, at approximately 0600 hours, Parks Highway Alaska State Troopers contacted MARLENE KENNEDY, age 65 of Wasilla at mile 218 of the Parks Highway. An investigation disclosed KENNEDY was impaired by alcohol and arrested for DUI. KENNEDY provided a breath sample that was over .080% BrAC. KENNEDY was released into the care of a sober adult per the Alaska statewide bail schedule.

On 14 June 2024, at approximately 1741 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a deceased person at 7358 Harding Drive. Investigation revealed Kenneth Stein, age 68 of Salcha, was deceased; no foul play is suspected. The next of Kin was notified on the scene. The state medical examiner released the body to the family.

On 06/14/2024 at 1358 hours the Alaska State Troopers on the Parks Highway received a report of a domestic dispute after the fact, near Mile 238 Parks Hwy. Investigation determined Devin Fabian, age 26 from Florida, but working in Alaska as a seasonal employee assaulted another person and interfered with the calling of law enforcement. Fabian was arrested and remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center and held without bail pending arraignment for Assault 4th (DV) and Interfering with the Reporting of a DV Crime. Alcohol was considered to be a contributing factor.

On 06/14/2024 at 1957 hours the Alaska State Troopers received a call about a suicidal subject in North Pole. When AST arrived on the scene the subject had already taken their own life. Next of kin arrived on the scene and were notified. AST contacted the State Medical Examiner's office and gave the report. The remains will be transported to Anchorage for the SME's office.

On 06/11/2024, Kodiak AWT observed Virgilio Tolentino, age 41 of Kodiak, sport fish within the closed waters between the Buskin River fish weir and the boundary line indicated by ADF&G markers. Tolentino was issued a citation for Sport Fishing in Closed Waters with a fine of $120.
